"No, it’s okay. I don’t blame you, trust takes years to build, seconds to break, and forever to repair, and one day, I hope to earn your trust," he stated.
"I am glad you think that way, I always knew you were a mature person and I acted immature yesterday." I grinned.
"So you know?" Lucinda muttered
"What did you just say?" I asked, glancing at her.
"Was I loud?" She asked, and Mr Jones laughed.
"Anyway, I am glad we have settled our differences," I replied.
"I saw Barbie when she was taking the horn, but she threatened to end my life if I snitched on her." Mr Jones said
"What? And why didn’t you tell me? Don’t tell me you are scared of her." I muttered, and a smile curved across his face. He started looking sideways. I think he is scared. He leans closer to me.
"The Barbie I saw that day was something else, neither was she a human, nor was she a beast," he whispered.
"Like I said, she was hypnotized." Lucinda defended.
"More like she was possessed." Mr Jones mumbled.
"If you say so, that means we need to keep an eye on her we can’t leave any stone unturned," I added.
"Possessed I don’t think so," Lucinda said, looking at someone, and I traced her gaze and found out she was starring at Barbie, who was eating peacefully.
"I can’t expect you guys to believe me either. I am just saying what I know." Mr Jones added
Author’s POV
They all stop talking and continue eating.

They all stood up from the chairs, leaving the plates on the table, and Lucinda patted her lips with a pink handkerchief.
"I will take my leave now." Mr Jones said, bowing slightly.
"Alright, you may take your leave," Ralph stated, and they both watched him as he walked out of the cafeteria and turned to each other.
"Sir, your eyes have been blue since yesterday I know you are angry, but where there is a will, there is a way." Lucinda grinned.
"I know, thanks," he said and forcing a smile, he put his hands in his pocket and strolled out of the cafeteria.
Lucinda didn’t follow him, instead she walked to sit with Barbie.
"Hi Barbie, why are you eating alone? Where are your friends?" Lucinda asked curiously, and Barbie bit her lower lip and gazed at her with her big brown eyes.
"They are busy," she replied, chewing her food.
Lucinda put her hand on the table and leaned closer to Barbie, their faces extremely close.
"Have you noticed anything, like you wake up and find yourself in strange places or see bruises on your body that you don’t know anything about?" Lucinda asked in a low tone. Barbie looked down and opened her mouth to say something.
"I don’t know, but I think I have to go," she said, taking her bag from the table.
"But Barbie, you haven’t finished your food yet." Lucinda grinned
