Steal a kiss

"Since we are friends now, do I need your permission to come into your house?" He asked and she let him in.

"Friends," she muttered, rolling her eyes.

"Aren’t we friends?" He asked, sitting on her bed.

"No, don’t sit on the bed, sit on the couch," she commanded.

"But why?" he asked curiously.

"I was about to sleep before someone came knocking on the door," she said sarcastically, and he smiled.

"Are you saying I sit on your couch while you sleep?" he asked, and she nodded. He slowly walked to the couch and sat there looking at Lucinda as she lay on the bed staring into space.

Suddenly, Lucinda's eyes close.

"Wow, she is sleeping already," he said, looking around the house.

He used his hand to scan the paintings on the wall.

"No family picture," he muttered, and his gaze landed on Lucinda as she was sleeping beautifully on the bed.

He moved closer to her, it was as if he wasn’t the one controlling his legs, he moved to her and sat beside her on the bed. He touched her hand slowly.

"How can a woman be this beautiful," he asked softly.

He stared at her lips and licked his lips, her lips were tempting. he looked around the house and slowly leaned over, trying to kiss her, and Medusa barged into the house and dragged him away from Lucinda immediately.

"What were you trying to do?" she asked with a frown.

"I was just trying to steal a kiss," he stated bluntly.

"Don’t you know that bad, if I didn’t stopped you, I bet you and Lucinda would have turned enemies just now," Medusa stated with a serious face.

"What do you mean by enemies?" he inquired curiously.

"She is a light sleeper," Medusa stated, and he grinned, stroking his hair.

"I am sorry," he muttered, blushing.

"You are lucky, I arrived on time, it’s already late and I think Lucinda is tired you can go now," she said.

"Okay I will go, tell her to call me tomorrow," he said and walk out of the house Medusa shut the door and sat on the bed, taking off her shoes.

"Lucinda was right about that human. He was indeed interested in her, I wonder how her meeting with her husband goes," Medusa said, and slept beside Lucinda, using the duvet to close their bodies and switch off the light.

The next day.

Lucinda woke up and stretched her muscles. She yawns, using her hand to close her mouth. She kicked Medusa with her legs, and Medusa yawned, opening her mouth wide.

"What do you want me to do this morning, my queen?" Medusa asked, staring at her weakly.

"Order food for me," Lucinda stated, and walked into the bathroom. Medusa answered the telephone and orders a grilled cheese sandwich. The waiter came in with the food and dropped it on the table.

Lucinda walked out of the bathroom using a towel to pat her hair.

"What’s that?" She inquired, looking at the food on the table.
