"You scared me for a moment," he said and she give him a weak smile and held his hand, he help her stand on her feet holding her waist.
"You can go back to work, I can take care of the demon myself," he stated, and she nodded negatively and stood on her feet, and he let go of her.
"I am okay," she assured him, and he looked at her hand. Her hand was blood red.
"Your hand is unusually red." he said, looking at her hand. Her eyes widened and she hid her hand behind her back, immediately smiling nervously.
"It’s okay maybe because the bricks fell on me it will subside," she said and looked at the demon.
"He is getting away." she declared, pointing at the demon, and Ralph ran towards the demon, she ran behind him. She entered the house where the demon was approaching and helped the people out as fast as she can.
Ralph sighed and aimed for the neck of the demon he was certain that he was going to kill the demon this time.
He descended quickly and swung his hand to cut off the head of the demon. He landed on the floor, and the head of the demon fell, destroying a house.
"Whoooo!! The people cheer and Lucinda smiled and looked at him and then looked at her hand. Her hand was back to normal. She ran to him and he embraced her. She opened her eyes wide in surprise as Ralph was holding her waist firmly. He stroked her hair. She just stood still, opening her eyes in surprise. She was getting a tingling sensation as he held her tightly and he let go of her.
"Thank you for helping," he stated, and she realized he had stained her dress with his bloody hands. She frowned at him.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Ralph asked raising questioning eyebrows.
"You have stained my dress," she whined with pouted lips and he looks at her dress and chuckled
"I am just happy and emotional here and all you are thinking about is your dress," he remarked, almost laughing.
"Let’s go back," she stated, and he took hold of her hand and teleported them back to the office.
"Let’s go back to the project room. I need your help in grilling the horn," he stated, and she walked behind him. He arrived in front of the project room and put his face closer to the door, and it scanned his eye and opened.
They both walked to the small room, and Ralph’s gaze landed on the empty table.
"Where is the horn?" he asked looking around the room
"I thought we left it here," Lucinda replied.
"I forgot to keep it because of that demon," Ralph said, stroking his hair backwards as he put his hand on the table.
"No need to panic, we can just ask Mr Jones. He must have it or the other employees." she declared.
"Yes, you are right," he said calmly, and walked out of the office, and she followed him.
