"I wasn’t planning to."Apedes assured.
"Like we want to eat your food." Lucinda said with a snarky remark, and the soldiers led them out of the room. Back to the dungeon, they bump into Princess Kiros. She stared at Lucinda and walked to the room where she saw the old man shaking Apedes. He saw her and became frightened. He walked out of the room quickly, avoiding her gaze, and Apedes looked at Princess Kiros with his head held high.
"What the matter, my princess?" he inquired.
"What is your conclusion, consigning those creatures." She inquired, her brow furrowed.
"The magician said they are dangerous creatures and that we should end their life." He said confidently.
"Why don’t you just let them go instead of killing them?" she asked bluntly.
‘I have ask the magician, and he said if we let them out of our kingdom, they would gather an army or even bring a beast to attack us." He whined.
"I think this is just suspertition." She stated.
"I don’t think so, my princess, he is always right." He stated, and she walked out of the room, ignoring him. He felt like she was going to do something he didn’t like, so he followed her quickly.
"What are you planning to do?" he asked, standing in front of her.
"None of your business." She said, walking in the direction of the dungeon.
"My princess, I hope you are not trying to set them free?" he asked, raising a brow.
"What if I am trying to set them free, who are you to stop me?" she questioned, her gaze fixed on him.
"I will go and tell your majesty." He said, like a little baby.
"Go and tell him, like I am scared of him." She remarked and pushed him out of the way. He watched her go and ran in the direction of the castle.
Kiros walked to the dungeon, and the soldiers standing in front of the dungeon stood in her way, preventing her from going to see Lucinda and Ralph.
"Get out of my way!!" she commanded.
"What are you doing here, my princess?" One of them inquired, refusing to get out of her way, and she tried to push him out of the way when another one blocked her.
"Apedes have asked us not to allow anyone to see the creatures." One of them said.
"I am your princess and you are talking about Apedes." She said rudely. And her handmaid ran to them and handed her a sword.
"Now get out of my way." She said. Ralph was marveled seeing the way the princess was attacking the soldiers. She was so brave.
"What do you think she is trying to do?" Lucinda asked.
"She is trying to save us, I guess." He beamed. She started fighting all the soldiers with her sword. All the other soldiers ran away, but one particular soldier stayed behind and stood in front of her trying to fight her. He was the chief commander of all the soldiers.
