Going back home

"Then how did you get here?" she asked.

"We were sent here by a witch." Lucinda stated.

"How did she bring you here?" Kiros inquired, stroking her chin.

"Through a portal." Ralph replied.

"We just have to look for a portal or find someone with magic who can take us back home." Lucinda said.

"You are right, and I know just the person, he is an elf, and he leaves on the east side." Kiros said.

"How can we get to him?" Ralph inquired.

"I will take you to him." She said and started walking. Ralph smiled and followed her. He held Lucinda’s hand and put his hand around her shoulder.

"How did you know she could help us?" Lucinda inquired.

"I just happen to know that she will be able to help us." He replied.

"I can’t wait to go back to earth, and eat." Lucinda beamed.

"You like food too much." Ralph makes a remark, and they both realize Kiros is miles ahead of them, walking without looking back.They both ran to her.  And started walking with her.

Apedes was walking in the streets looking for Ralph and Lucinda.  When he found the king laying unconscious on the ground.

"My king." He said and ran to him and the floor. He lifted him off the ground and started tapping his face.

"Wake up, my king." He called out to the king, he started to open his eyes slowly. And as soon as he saw Apedes, he stood up.

"What happened?" the king asked, holding his head.

"I don’t know, I just found you lying unconscious." He replied.

The king looked at his hand and started looking around.

"What are you looking for, my king?" he inquired.

"Where is the stick, I can’t find it." He said, looking around.

"Fuck!!" Apedes cursed, packing his hair with his hand.

"So what do we do now? Even though we find them, we can’t get them under our control." The king said.

"I think we should just find our way home." Apedes said, looking around and bringing out a compass from his pocket.

"Let’s go." he said and waited for the compass to point to the south for him.

"What if the monster is still in the kingdom?" the king inquired.

"We just need to look for another way to lure him out, I am quite sure he won’t be there anymore." Apedes said, and they both started walking.

Kiros stopped in front of a cave and walks inside. followed by Lucinda and Ralph.

The cave was empty, with little chairs and small clothes hanging on the wall.

"Where is the elf?" Lucinda asked, sitting on one of the chairs.

"I think he went out to get something." Kiros suggested sitting on a chair as well.

Ralph also took a chair and rested his hand on the wall.

Minutes later.

They all fall asleep in the cave. When the elf arrived, he saw them and brought out a small stick from his pocket, using it to poke Ralph in the face.

I will like to address something, firstly those of you who say you don't like the way i split the chapter, that's the way we are asked to post and secondly this story is still ongoing, meaning i am still writing it. many books in light reader is still ongoing, those of you saying please complete it, we have certain amount of words we need to post everyday. Don't worry we will complete the novel but it will take time. And lastly please and please if you want to rate don't rate it two stars or one star, but that's breaks the writers heart to see one star rating, even though you have a complaint you can't still put 5 stars it reduce our rating and the one star is literally saying the book is not worth 5 stars. so guys please try to encourage writers so we will be happy to post for you everyday. it's not our fault that we are keeping you in suspense.
