Daughter

"You just noticed that she was acting strange, you didn’t think of why she was acting that way?" Medusa inquired.

"How am I supposed to know that she is not you." Lucinda muttered.

"So how did you escape? Because I know that my husband can’t just leave you like that."

"He didn’t leave me, I escaped with the help of another demon." Medusa replied, and Lucinda gave her a light hug.

"I am so glad you are back." She mumbled.

"Get off of me, it’s so awkward hugging your boss." Medusa inquired.

"Sorry, I am just so happy." Lucinda muttered.

"So what about Barbie? Have you found out about her identity?" Medusa inquired, raising a brow.

"Yes, a long time ago, I found out that she was a witch." Lucinda stated.

"Wow, I didn’t expect that."

"And the worst thing is that she is the one that swapped me and Ralph’s bodies because we tried to kill her." Lucinda stated.

"Why do you guys want to kill her? You know, killing a witch is very hard."

"I know because of what we have both gone through the past few days." Lucinda stated.

"Big sis!!" they heard Ralph calling from inside the room.

"I think you need to go see him, we will talk when we meet again." Lucinda started and disappeared.

"Big sis!!" Ralph repeated.

"I am coming!" Medusa exclaimed and walked into the house. She walked into the bed room and saw Ralph lying on the bed.

"Where were you?" he asked.

"I went to drink water, don’t worry, go to bed." Medusa said and sat near him and started stroking his hair as he rested on her lap.

The next day.

Lucinda woke up in the morning and quickly took her bath. She walked out of her room and joined Mrs Sliver in the kitchen.

"I can see you love cooking, mum." She muttered.

"I do. I went to look for my daughter yesterday." Mrs Silver stated.

"Who is this your daughter you speak off?" Lucinda inquired, and she turned to look at her. She opened her eyes wide in surprise.

"Are you the one asking me this question?" she asked, sprinting her eyes.

"I was just joking." Lucinda said nervously, and she grabbed a piece of toasted bread from the table and started walking out of the house.

"Bye honey!!" Mrs Sliver beamed.

"Bye, mum." Lucinda replied, with her mouth filled with food as she walked outside the house.

"How I wish I could drive. That would be good." Lucinda muttered and disappeared into the elevator. Inside the elevator, an employee stared at her, terrified.

"How-how did you get here?" he asked. She was surprised that the employee didn’t know about his boss's ability.

"Chill, I can teleport." Lucinda stated, and he fainted on the elevator fall.

"Drama." Lucinda muttered and dragged him from the floor, settling him on the wall of the elevator. She pressed her floor button and stood there waiting for the elevator to reach her destination while the employee started snoring beside her.
