Missing people

"He was asking you to be his girlfriend. Can you believe that guy? Do you like him?" Ralph asked, raising an eyebrow.

"You are not my sister, so I don’t have to answer to you, so what did you say to him?" Lucinda asked.

"You better not lie to me." She added.

"I told him the truth that you don’t like him and you already have a boyfriend, but that moron still insists that he wants to be your friend." Ralph muttered.

"Awwn, he is so strong and considerate." Lucinda mumbled.

"He is not, he was trying to force himself on me." He remarked.

"Stop trying to cook up stories. We need to go to the project room now, and later go and see Deacon." Lucinda declared.

"Okay, let’s go." Ralph started walking out of the office, and Lucinda followed behind him.

Minutes later.

They both arrived in front of the project room. Lucinda used her eyes to open the room and they both walked in.

All the employees stood up in their seats as they saw Lucinda. They were all bowing their heads.

Lucinda waved her hand and they sat down immediately.

They both walked to Ralph’s office, but it was locked. The employee opened it for them.

"Why did you lock the room?" Lucinda asked coldly.

"I find out that this is the way to make me more focused." He replied.

"Tell me what you wanted to tell me yesterday that couldn’t wait." Lucinda stated, putting her hands in her pocket, and he carried the laptop from the desk and showed her the computer screen.

There were posters of missing people everywhere around town. Lucinda’s eyes widened as she stared at the screen. He dropped the computer back on the desk.

"Why are people missing?" Ralph asked.

"I don’t know, but according to my research, the people that are missing just disappeared and they are no where in The employee replied.

"No where on the map, this is very serious." Lucinda remarked.

"We need to find a way to catch the person that has been kidnapping people. If this continues like this, in two days' time, half of the city’s population will be gone." He stated.

"So how do we identify the person that has been kidnapping people?" Lucinda asked.

"That will be hard because the CCTV cameras around town haven’t been able to capture the criminal’s face." He remarked.

"This person must be very smart." Ralph commented.

"Yes, that’s why we need to pretend to be a regular person on the streets so when that person comes to abduct us, we will expose them." Lucinda suggested.

"It won’t be easy, what if the person succeeds in abducting you? How will you escape?" the employee inquired.

"I will look for a way out." Lucinda muttered.

"It won’t be easy, so we need a plan." Ralph stated, stroking his chin.

"How about I give you a spy camera and a speaker to wear so that if you get abducted like the others, I can see where you are and come and rescue you?" The employee suggested Ralph give him a high five.
