Getting the crystals

She sighted the crystals she needed and ran swiftly to them. She held the crystal but it was too hard to pull out as she clenched her teeth and started dragging it but it refused to get off the ground.

The ground began shaking as she felt the presence of something huge behind her. She knew immediately that it was Deacon as she opened her eyes wide in surprise and let go of the crystal.

"What are you doing here?" Deacon asked with a deep voice.

Lucinda turned slowly to look at him.

"I was just…." She didn’t complete her sentence when he cut in.

"Why are you trying to take those crystals?" he asked.

"I need it for something." She muttered, averting her gaze from his.

"Why didn’t you tell me? I would have gotten it for you. You know, I own the place." He beamed. She gave him a fake smile.

"I didn’t want to bother you." She muttered.

"Step aside." He commanded. Lucinda moved away from the crystals as Deacon moved towards the crystals.  She stood behind him, watching him as he used his sharp finger to cut off a part of the crystal and it fell on the ground. She quickly picked it up from the floor.

"I need another one." She declared.

He cut another one with his finger. Lucinda quickly grabbed it.

"Thank you." She beamed, looking at the crystals in her hand.

"I am glad I could be of help, don’t forget to tell Ralph to come and feed me." He stated.

"I will." Lucinda beamed and disappeared.

Ralph walked into the office, but it was empty. There was no one in the office.

"Where is she?" he muttered, asking no one in particular.

He closed the door and decided to go see Deacon.

Minutes later.

Ralph was in the cave as he walked towards Deacon’s gate. He was about to knock on the gate when Deacon flew outside. He fell to the floor as Deacon flew over him.

"You are here early," Deacon stated.

"Yes, I wanted to ask you something." Ralph muttered.

"All right, go ahead."

"Do you perhaps know a way we can put an end to this spell, or do you know anyone that can do it?" Ralph asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I am sorry, I don’t know anyone, have you tried reading?" Deacon inquired.

"Reading how?" Ralph asked curiously.

"I suggest you go to the library." Deacon suggested.

"I will go later in the afternoon, I think I also need to find Queen Luna so she can break this spell." Ralph commented.

"Good luck with that, now get me food." Deacon stated, glaring at him.

"I will." Ralph muttered as he started walking out of the cave. He arrived at the office and sat down in his chair. He was wondering where Lucinda went, and at the same time, he wanted his body back. Lucinda has been taking advantage of his powers. He opened the computer when the office phone rang.  He picked up the call.
