Eng the war 2

"Guys, stop talking, we need to look for a place to hide In the meantime, Lucinda please teleport us to another place." Deacon instructed

"Why are we looking for a place to hide when we can just as easily look for a way to put an end to this war." She inquired twisting her mouth.

"You think it's easy, just look at the way this place is we are the prey of everyone here. Look at how their eyes are digging holes in our body." Ralph replied.

Ralph opened his eyes wide in surprise as the demon landed on the ground beside them, smashing the ground with his hand as he looked up at them.

His eyes were burning with flames, and a smile curved across his big, scary face.

When Lucinda shot him, he caught the bullet in his hands and started scrutinizing it. Lucinda ran to Deacon and Ralph teleported them far away from the war. She started panting as she placed her hand on her chest.

"Who was that man? Why was he after us?" She asked

"I know I have seen his face, and he looks very familiar, but I don't remember where I have seen him." Ralph muttered, stroking his chin.

"I remember him he is calm today he hasn't unleashed his beast, his name is Death. He is the assistant devil, AKA the god of war." Deacon remarked. They both gasped,

"No wonder he was attacking us." Lucinda grinned.

"We need to think fast because he can track us down. He is just like an animal. Once he has smelled you, he can find you." Deacon declared.

"So what is the plan? my employees are not here yet, so we don't have the upper hand now." Ralph stated.

"As far as I know, the only way to stop this war is to kill the two leaders of the war...Ralph cut in.

"By that, you mean death and the leader of the humans." He stated.

"Yes, that is a nice plan, but killing death is almost impossible."

"How come I haven't heard of him?" Lucinda asked.

"That is because he is always at war, the blood of humans is his greatest power. That is what keeps him strong and healthy. He is very strong and always has the upper hand in any war. no one can defeat him that is why he is called the god of war." Deacon declared.

"So saving these people is impossible; didn't I warn you that it would be dangerous, but you didn't listen because you're acting selflessly?" Ralph muttered glaring at Lucinda.

"We can still win this fight we can just try to distract him away from the battlefield and kill the other leader, so his minions will go away and the war will be settled." She beamed with a toothy smile.

"If death discovers that the war has ended, he will most likely kill all humans in his path at that moment."Deacon stated.

"You are describing him as if you have known him for a long time." Ralph remarked.

"Doesn't he have another name? It feels awkward to call him death."  Lucinda whined.
