Crisis 2

She took out her phone to call him and glanced at the time. It was already closing and all the employees were still at work. Perhaps it was because of the war coming.

She walked into the elevator. As soon as the elevator closed, she teleported into the office and strolled to her desk.

She sat on the desk and closed her eyes.

"Husband, tell me what is happening, is this war going to kill us all?" she asked softly.

"I can’t talk to you now. I am in the middle of something." Lucifer replied.

"Answer my question." She said rudely.

"With my new demons, I will try my best not to let the war enter your city. My strongest demon is working on it." He assured.

"Good to hear, but I heard they are almost in our city." She stated.

"I don’t want anything in your city, so you have nothing to worry about, now leave me alone." He said coldly.

"Alright." She sighed as the door opened.

Ralph walked into the office. It was the first time she was happy to see him. She ran to him and hugged him tightly.

Ralph pushed her away sadly, without looking at her, as he walked slowly towards his desk. Lucinda looked at him in surprise. She could see that he was sad.

"What is wrong?" she asked, walking towards him. He looked up at her.

"I am sick and tired of being you, I want to be me again. I miss myself." He lamented putting his hand on his face. She narrowed her eyes at him.

"So that’s what's bothering you, haven’t you heard the latest news?" She asked, glaring at him.

"What news?" he asked bluntly.

"That there is a war coming to Orlando and we are all doomed." She stated. He opened his eyes wide in surprise.

"Are you serious? How come I didn’t know?" he stated as he switched on his computer.

"Because you were not in the office, your employees were interrogating me like I was God, I am also tired of being you." She complained.

Ralph started pressing the computer swiftly and came across all the articles about the war.

"How can we simply hold it off when we are not in our rightful bodies." Ralph muttered, stroking his chin.

"So what are you trying to say?"

"I think we should tell all the employees to pack their bags and go home, and we should also go home and fly abroad with our loved ones." Ralph suggested.

Lucinda put her hand on top of his desk, glaring at him.

"How can you say such a thing? I can’t believe you are being a coward right now!!" she snapped at him.

"How am I being a coward? If you want to die, then don’t listen to my advice." He shrugged. As he got up from the chair.

She held his hand.

"We need to find a way to help these people. We can’t just let the war ruin our city." Lucinda stated as he wiped her hand off.
