"Oh no!!" Lucinda exclaimed, as she looked into the pit.
"Did they kill themselves?" she said, asking no one in particular as she looked into the pit when her phone started ringing.
"Hello, where are you?" Ralph inquired.
"I am outside the company, I found the one who planted the bomb in the company, but they are both dead now." She muttered.
"Did you kill them?" he asked.
"I didn’t actually kill them, they fell into a pit." She informed.
"Gosh! Come back to the office." He declared and hung up.
She stared into the pit as people started running away as soon as they sighted her wings. She put her wings inside, blew sand to cover the pit, and started walking back to the company.
She walked up to the company and went inside, still perplexed as to why they said she would die if she killed them.
Ralph ran to her.
"Are you okay?" he asked, staring at her hand.
"Yes, I am fine." She muttered. He stroked her face firmly.
"So what are you sad about?" he inquired.
"I'm not sure, but they said before they died that if I killed them, I would also die." She muttered as he opened his eyes wide, staring at her.
"What?" she asked, narrowing her eyes at him.
"That can only mean one thing..he gasped and continued.
"That the bomb we got rid of wasn’t the only one in the company; there might still be another one." He remarked.
"How is that possible?" she asked flatly.
"Anything is possible, I think those guys are suicide bombers. I don’t know what the person that sent them here would gain by killing us." Ralph commented.
"So we should go look for the remaining bombs, I don’t want to die." Lucinda whined.
"You will not die, trust me," he beamed, staring into her eyes.
"We can’t keep chatting; we are running out of time." She stated.
"You are right, ask all the employees to evacuate the building." Ralph declared, running into the first office of the company.
"Wait!" she yelled and ran after him.
Ralph stood at the entrance to the office.
"Everyone go home, there's a bomb in here." He informed.
They all became frightened and started running out of the office without looking back. He was about to enter when he sensed Lucinda’s presence. He turned to look at her with a straight face.
"What are you doing here?" he asked in a rumbling tone.
"I don’t think the bomb is on this floor, I saw them coming from the second floor." Lucinda muttered.
"Okay, thank you, go! Go! and save the people." He declared as he grabbed her hand and they both started running out of the room.
He let go of her hand as they both went their separate ways.
Lucinda stood on top of a desk staring at everyone as she started tapping her foot on the table so they would notice her.
"Everyone go out, there is a bomb!!" She yelled.
