Mission

Lucinda was still lost in thought. She knew she hadn’t visited any volcanoes with Ralph recently.  

"Why do you want me to do that? Don’t we have a lot of Demons who are specialized in that field?" Medusa inquired.

"We do, but you are the one I need to lead them tomorrow." Luis muttered.

"Why?" she asked. Luis stared at Lucinda and smiled deviously at them.

"You will find out tomorrow, so are you in?" he inquired.

"I am coming." Medusa muttered as she walked over to Lucinda.

They both put their hands on their shoulders and bent down, whispering to each other.

"What do you think my brother is up to?" Medusa inquired.

"I don’t know, but I have a strong feeling that this is a bad idea." Lucinda remarked.

"But he says he is going to grant me a wish, I can’t let go of the opportunity to turn human again. "What can be so hard about guiding a volcano." Medusa questioned.

"It’s not hard, but, I don’t want to be a hindrance to your dream, you can do it." Lucinda assured.

"Thank you, my queen I won’t let you down and if there is any suspicious activity, I will let you know." Medusa beamed.

"You guys are wasting my time!!" Luis yelled as they both turned to him.

"I will do it." Medusa stated with a toothy smile.

"Nice now, that’s my sister, come tomorrow morning, I will tell you where the volcano is located." Luis remarked.

"Okay." Medusa muttered.

"You may leave now." He stated facing Queen Luna.

"What are you trying to do?" Queen Luna inquired.

"I am a very secretive man." He replied. As he noticed, Medusa and Lucinda were still standing there.

He moved away from Queen Luna immediately.

"What are you guys still doing here?" he asked bluntly.

"We can’t go back without flying, it’s a waste of time, so can you send us back home?" Medusa inquired.

"Fine get out." He stated as he waved his hand and they both disappeared.

Medusa fell onto the bed, waving her hand on the bed with a smile on her face.

"Look who is happy." Lucinda teased.

"If things work out for me, maybe we don’t have to postpone our wedding anymore." Medusa remarked.

"Let’s just hope it works out." Lucinda stated she was about to go to the kitchen when her phone started ringing beside Medusa on the bed.

"Pass my phone to me." Lucinda muttered, smiling brightly as Medusa stared at the caller.

"I know you think it’s your boyfriend." Medusa commented as she picked up the phone and tossed it to Lucinda, who put it in her ear immediately.

"Hello, my love." Lucinda beamed.

"Wow, I am so glad to hear you call me that." Nathan beamed. Lucinda screwed up her face and looked at the caller. It was Nathan. She shook her head and shot Medusa a dagger eye before putting the phone in her ear.

"Hello, Nathan." She muttered as she was hearing different sounds in the background.
