Lucinda walked closer to Nathan and stood in front of him.
She gave him a resounding slap across the face.
"Now tell me, why did you help them to kidnap me? You lied to me. That you were in trouble. I can't believe I trusted you so blindly. I thought I was your friend." Lucinda lamented, looking into his eyes.
"Yes, you are my friend, but I have to do it to....he couldn't complete his sentence when she slapped him across the cheek.
"But what? Nathan what!!" She yelled, glaring at him.
"Please hear me out. It was because of my sister. They kidnapped her and asked me to bring you." He stated bluntly.
Lucinda was lost for words. She was burning with rage. Her hand was aching, and only giving him another slap could calm her down.
She raised her hand to slap him when Ralph held her hand in midair.
"It's okay, he is saying the truth. If you still insist on hitting him, I won't say anything if he decides to hit you back." Ralph stated as he let go of her hand.
"So you chose your sister over me?" Lucinda asked, tapping her chest.
"Who should he choose?" Ralph inquired, and she turned to look at him with a cold glare.
"If it was me and your mum, who would you choose?" Lucinda inquired. Ralph gulped, smiling nervously.
"I can't choose." Ralph replied.
"You hear that my baby says he can't choose?" Lucinda muttered, blowing kisses at Ralph, who caught it and was smiling endlessly like a child.
"I know it's hard to forgive me, but please try. I don't want to lose a great friend like you." Nathan muttered.
"Who is your friend? We are no longer friends." Lucinda declared as her words echoed in his ear.
She walked over to Ralph and held his hand, staring at him. She put her hand on Ralph's chest, looking up at him.
"This man here is my boyfriend, the only one I love internally, and he doesn't want me to have a male friend, isn't that right?" Lucinda inquired, staring at Ralph.
"I don't mind if you are friends with Nathan, but I don't want him to touch you." Ralph muttered.
Lucinda frowned and hit Ralph lightly on the chest.
"Why can't you just support me?" She grumbled and stood akimbo, looking at Nathan.
"I have forgiven you. I understand your sister is more important, but I think I can't carry on with this friendship because there is no trust." Lucinda muttered.
"Please give me one more chance. I will earn your trust." Nathan begged.
"Baby, let's go." Lucinda muttered, dragging Ralph's hand and ignoring Nathan in the process.
"Stop calling me baby, look for another nickname." Ralph complained.
"You are so unromantic." Lucinda whined.
"Bye Lucy!!" Nathan yelled, waving at her even though she didn't look back at him.
"Are you really going to end your friendship with him?" Ralph inquired as they entered the house.
"No, I just want to teach him a lesson." She replied.
