Lucinda's decision

Lucinda's legs were wobbling as the demon walked to her and handed her the sword.

Her hands were slippery as she took the sword from him.

Luis smirked as he emptied the cup in his hand and tossed it to the floor. .

Lucinda squatted at Ralph's level, trying to lift him up with one hand when the demons supported her and lifted up Ralph for her. He was still unconscious with his head down.

Lucinda held tightly to the sword, staring at Medusa, who had a sad expression.

She sighed and stared at the entrance of the volcano, calculating how she could escape with Ralph.

"You are wasting my time." Luis stated in a rumbling tone.

"My queen, hold on, I need to capture this moment." Queen Luna muttered as a phone appeared in her hand.

She started filming Lucinda with an evil grin.

Medusa ran over to them, staring at Luis.

"Do you have anything to say? Do you have a reason why you shouldn't kill him and face her husband's wrath?" Luis inquired, staring at Medusa.

Medusa pursed her lips into a line lost for words.

Lucinda, on the other hand, was sweating continuously as she stared at Ralph. There was only one thing on her mind, and it was to escape with Ralph.

She tossed the emerald sword to Medusa, who cut it.  

"What are you doing?" Luis asked in a rumbling tone.

Lucinda turned deaf ears as she carried Ralph away from the demons. 

"My queen, what are you doing?" They inquired moving closer to her.

"Don't come any closer." Lucinda declared as she brought out her wings and started flying out of the volcano.

The demons wanted to go after Lucinda. Medusa blocked their path, flaunting the emerald sword.

"What just happened?" Queen Luna asked, battling her lashes as she grabbed Luis's right arm, looking into his eyes.

"How can you let this happen?" She asked staring at him.

"I don't know what's wrong with the queen, but let her go. She will have to answer to the king. He will be back tomorrow." Luis replied.

"I am going after them, so all our preparations were in vain." She muttered and brought out another wand.

"Stop! let them go." Luis stated, looking at Medusa, who pushed the demons away and rushed out of the volcano.

"Oh, no! I am so furious. What is wrong with the queen? She had a chance to kill him and to be free, but she blew it up? For what reason? Do you think she is under a spell or something?" Queen Luna stated, gnashing her teeth. 

"I don't know about that but. I know she was in her right mind just now. She was so worried about him, like he was someone so dear to him." Luis replied. She gulped as she narrowed her eyes at the ghost and started walking towards him.

"What is wrong?" He asked, stepping backwards.

"You must know something we don't know; you are her spy." Queen Luna stated as she appeared in front of him and stood in front of him.
