Drunk Lucinda

"I don’t want her disturbing you again. What does she want from you?" Ralph inquired.

"I don’t know, she just won’t leave me in peace," Lucinda replied flatly.

"Tell me where she is so I can go and warn her to stay away from you, if possible kill her." He remarked, clenching his fist.

"Calm down, we need to find a way out of this mess and try to change your eye colour." She teased.

"You know I can't; it always reflects my mood." He replied bluntly and started sniffing her.

"Lucinda, did you drink?" he asked, sniffing her face. She gulped.

"I drink a little." She muttered.

"Queen Luna has gone too far." He stated he was trying to walk away when she grasped his hand.

"Calm down, it’s not time to get aggressive. I am controlling it fine. I didn’t have a lot to drink, so you don’t need to worry about me." She beamed.

"That’s good to hear." He said and squatted on the ground, pushing the ashes away from the floor.

"What are you doing?" Lucinda asked, wondering what he was doing. He got up on his feet, hitting the place with his leg. It was making the sound of steel.

"Is this the passage to Deacons' cave?" she asked.

"Yes, silly." He replied and opened the cave.

"Go in," he stated, looking at Lucinda.

"Why should I go in? It’s too dangerous." She protested.

"Normally, guys say ladies first, but since you don’t want to go, I won’t force you." He beamed and entered the cave, sliding down the ladder.

"He didn’t even beg me for a little longer." She whined and entered after him.

There was a lot of heat in the cave compared to its normal temperature. Lucinda wrapped her hands around herself while walking after Ralph.

Ralph was walking into the lava without looking back to see if Lucinda was behind him. He was lost in his own world as he started jumping across the lava to the other side.

He halted to see if she was behind him when she bumped into him and hit him on the back. He turned to look at her.

"Are you blind?" he asked bluntly. She was looking down, holding her head.

"No," she muttered and put her head on his chest.

"What are you doing? We need to go to Deacon. His cave is over there." He stated staring at her.

He let go of her and started walking away. Lucinda followed him, struggling to walk. Ralph heard a loud thud and looked back. He saw Lucinda sitting on the ground.

She screwed up her face like that of a child and started crying. He rolled his eyes and rushed over to her, quickly helping her off the ground.

"Are you okay? Why are you crying?" he asked softly.

"I just fell. You didn’t bother to walk with me." She muttered, hitting him lightly on the chest.

"Please calm down, it’s not like that." He protested.

"You don’t know how to care for your girlfriend. You are a heartless madafucker." She muttered with pouted lips.
