Lucifer stared at his palm and sighted Lucinda and Ralph sleeping on the same bed. He sighed and closed his palm, trying to pretend he didn't see them.
"Go away! I am powerless because of you!" He heard Queen Luna's voice.
"It's not my fault. I was trying to get you to do the task he assigned you. You Ignore the important task he gave to you." Luis stated.
"I didn't want to ignore it. I thought getting the sword wouldn't take that long." Queen Luna groaned.
"I know, but just because you are weak doesn't mean you will give up. You can still fight." Luis stated.
"How can I fight? When I can't fly or even use my wand." Queen Luna inquired.
"Don't trouble yourself too much. I will teach you how to fight." Luis assured.
"No, you can't. No one can." Queen Luna inquired.
"Luis! Luna! Keep your voice down!!" Lucifer yelled.
"Sorry, your highness." They both chorused.
"See what you caused? Leave me alone." Queen Luna snarled and walked away.
Luis watched her go. He was feeling guilty that he had lost his partner in crime and it was all because of Lucinda. He clenched his fists. Nothing would stop him from killing Ralph. He just needed to get some rest now.
The next day.
Ralph woke up due to his alarm clock and used his hand to turn it off. He put his hand on his face and sat up on the bed.
"Lu.." he paused as he moved his hand on the bed and realized that Lucinda was not in bed with him.
"Where did she go?" He muttered and got up from the bed when he started inhaling something burning.
"Oh no!!" He yelled and ran to the kitchen that was covered with smoke. He waved his hand in the air and managed to see Lucinda trying to drag out toast bread from the toasting machine that was steaming out smoke.
He ran to the window and opened the window in the kitchen, making the room bright.
"Who asked you to cook?" He asked as the smoke reduced.
Lucinda let go of the toasting machine.
"No one, I wanted to cook for you. Medusa taught me how to search for it online." She muttered, staring at the machine that was still bringing out smoke.
Ralph walked to the machine and turned it off.
"Don't ever do something like this again. You scared the hell out of me." He lamented and ran to her because her hand must be sore because she was touching the hot machine with her bare hand.
He stared at her hand, but there was no injury.
"How is this possible?" He muttered, staring at her hand.
"Don't worry, I didn't touch it that much." Lucinda assured.. Ralph was not still convinced by her reply, but he was happy that she was not hurt.
"Go freshen up, we have somewhere to go." He declared.
"What about food?" Lucinda asked bluntly.
"Don't worry, I will order something." He assured.
