"Stupid lifeguard, didn't you say I was lying? Look at my boyfriend. He is fucking dead and it's because you didn't do your job well." The lady ranted, looking back at the crowd with tears crumpling her pale cheeks.
Other people on the beach saw what was happening and started leaving the beach with their children one after the other.
The lifeguard was scared. He was standing in front of Ralph when he started moving slowly towards the beach.
"Oops." Ralph muttered and pushed him on purpose. He staggered and halted in front of the lady and her boyfriend.
"Oh my God, this is disgusting. Come with me, let him go. You have to think about yourself too." The lifeguard stated and grasped her hand and pulled her away from her boyfriend.
"Leave me alone. I want to die with him." She whimpered.
"My job is to save your life," the lifeguard said, hauling her away.
He stood in front of the crowd.
"What are you guys staring at? Go home. The beach is closed for today." The lifeguard declared.
All the people started murmuring and started walking away, including Nathan's fans.
"Let's also go home. It's so dangerous here. They should have made sure this place was secured before asking people to swim in it." Hudson stated.
"I am not going anywhere. I must put an end to this." Ralph said, clenching his fists.
"Who are you to stop a beast from killing people?" Nathan asked, walking over to them.
"I am Ralph, the CEO of ED Company. I can do anything." Ralph stated confidently he wanted to have fun with Lucinda on the beach and wouldn't leave without doing that.
They all heard the sound of a whistle and looked back; they were the only ones at the beach.
"What are you guys still doing here? you wanna die?" The lifeguard inquired.
"I am going," Hudson said, walking away with Medusa.
Medusa looked back at Lucinda, who stood close to Ralph.
"Be careful, my queen." She muttered. Lucinda gave her a weak smile.
"Just forget about it. I don't want to have fun here anymore." Lucinda pleaded, holding tightly to Ralph's soft and muscular arm. Ralph didn't look down at her.
"Please allow me to save my friend if you think dying is the only option." Nathan protested, staring at Ralph, wondering if he was out of his mind or if it was part of his plan to murder Lucinda because he didn't really love her. A lot of things were going through his mind when someone tapped him on the shoulder.
"Ain't you going to go?" The lifeguard inquired.
"I am going, Lucinda. Don't you want to come with me?" Nathan asked, extending his hand to her.
Lucinda looked at his hand and gulped. She didn't know what kind of creature, monster, or fish was in the water and Ralph was being stubborn.
"I will stay with him." She muttered although she wanted to run away with him.
"I feel like you were saying this because of him. I will get going. What do I know?" Nathan half-shrugged, walking towards his guitar at the side of the bridge.
