Beach monster 2

"Demons of hell? Who are they? I have never heard of them." Lucinda muttered, stroking her chin.

"They are the other six demons that rule hell with me." Lucifer replied.

"Wow, so you are not the only one that rules the earth?" She asked bluntly.

"Yes, my darling, I am not. They will have to come out of their shells and stop this thing from happening. How are you going about the killing of Ralph?" Lucifer inquired.

"I haven't been able to kill him. I just need some more time." She replied.

"That's the least of my problems now. I have better things to do, but if Ralph interferes with this fight, he will surely die!" Lucifer stated, sending shivers down Lucinda's spine. She heard footsteps behind her and became tense.

She turned back immediately, with one of her legs backward, ready to fight, when she realized it was Ralph who was staring at her with a confused expression.

"Do you wanna fight me?" He asked bluntly.

"Pheew!" She muttered, wiping the sweat off her forehead and running to him.

"I brought this for you," he said, handing her a sword.

"Am...am I going to go in there with you?" She stuttered.

"Of course, are you scared? This is not like you, Lucinda. The Lucinda I know is brave and fearless in the face of danger. She stand tall." He complimented.

Lucinda's face flushed. Little did he know the mess he is getting himself into.

"I think that another Lucinda, do you have another girl apart from me?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

He gave her a toothy smile.

"Gosh! I can't believe this." Lucinda lamented, lifting her sword. He hit her sword with his.

"Calm down, Lucy, I am just joking." He muttered, moving closer to her. He stared into her ocean blue eyes.

"Let's go finish this one once and for all." He said holding tightly to his two swords.

"I am going to die." Lucinda said in a high-pitched voice, which Ralph couldn't hear. He moved closer to the corpse in front of the beach and squatted in front of it, scanning the body with his eyes. The neck of the person had shifted and blood was all over the floor.

Ralph stroked his chin. "If there is something in the water, I need to awaken it." He muttered and turned back to Lucinda, handing his two swords to her.

"If I say, fetch throw the swords back to me." He commanded.

"I will do that." Lucinda said, giving him a reassuring smile, still thinking about what Lucifer told her as she took the sword from him and held it tightly to it. A tear escaped from her eyes. What if he dies? How is she going to live in this world alone? She asked herself and stood watching him as he lifted the corpse, which was disgusting and dripping blood on his body.

He grunted and started spinning the corpse in the air so it would reach a great distance in the water.
