"Doctor, can she get discharged today?" Ralph inquired.
"No, my dear, but she will be discharged tomorrow. She needs someone who can be with her at all times," the doctor stated. Ralph turned to look at Lucinda. He knew she wouldn't be able to take care of his mom.
"What do you suggest I do? Because I am a workaholic." Ralph stated.
"That's not a problem. I will hire a nurse for her, but she charges a lot." The doctor declared.
"Don't worry about that," Ralph said, as he put his hand around Lucinda's neck.
"Let's go." He muttered.
"Alright sir," the doctor beamed, waving Ralph, who she considered a hotcake.
Ralph got into Mr. Maxwell's car with Lucinda and drove off, When his phone began to ring, he pulled over to the side of the road and saw that it was the manager in charge of rebuilding his company.
"Hello," Ralph muttered.
"We were busy building when something came up," he stated.
"What's that?" Ralph inquired.
"We found a pit on your land. It's more like an underground house or something. To achieve our goal, we have started filling the pit with sand." He declared. Ralph groaned, putting his hand on his face. That was Deacon's cave, and one of the reasons he wanted to supervise them.
"Stop filling the pit. I am coming." Ralph declared.
"Hello...hello sir, I can't hear you." The manager stated and hung up.
"Fuck! Now they just have to be a bad network at this time." Ralph groaned and shoved his phone into his pocket.
"What's wrong?" Lucinda asked, confused.
Ralph ignited the engine and drove off. "Those fools are trying to get rid of Deacon's cave," Ralph whined, hitting the steering wheel.
"Let's just abandon this crap here and teleport to the company," Lucinda suggested touching his arm.
"We are almost there," Ralph replied, driving at great speed. He was thinking about how they could be so dumb and parked his car in front of the company. He saw a pile of sand next to Deacon's cave with some morons pushing it in.
Ralph got out of the car and slammed the door, thundering to the manager, who was standing at the side staring at his phone.
"Stop!!." Ralph declared, standing akimbo with Lucinda by his side. All the employees paused and stared at Ralph, who was walking towards him with thundering footsteps.
"Stop what?" The manager asked in a dumb way as the employees continued pushing the sand into Deacon's cave.
Ralph ran to one of the employees and took his shovel from him.
"I was asking you to stop it. I want a small company, not an estate, and besides, there is enough space for you to build the company without touching this underground house." Ralph ranted.
"Please accept my apologies, sir; I must have made a blunder because I was too ignorant to call you." The manager apologized.
"I don't want your apology I want this sand out of this place in the next hour. " Ralph declared, snapping his finger.
