Second chance

Deacon struggled to break free from the rope, but it was too strong. He tried to bring out fire from his mouth, but it was useless.

He looked up at the little opening at the top, which was bringing light into the cave.

"My Lord, please forgive Ralph and give him a second chance." He pleaded but got no response.

"He doesn't know what he is doing. He is just a kid. He doesn't know anything. I still need to educate him." Deacon pleaded but got no response. He made up his mind that he wouldn't be able to get out of there and closed his eyes while lying on the floor.

When the light in the cave diverted to Ralph on the crystal bed and started shining on his body, the ice started going away slowly and his body started turning back to normal.

Ralph opened his eyes, wide, and got up on the crystal bed, putting his hand on his head. He was having a throbbing headache.

"Lucinda," he mumbled. Deacon heard his voice and noticed that he was awake.

He looked around the cave and saw Deacon tied on the floor.

"Come here, boy." Deacon said in a happy tone.

Ralph ran to him and tried to use his hand to cut the rope, but it was useless. He tried to bring out the fire from his hand, but nothing came out.

"Deacon, what is wrong with me? I can't use my powers anymore. At first, my eyes couldn't change colours, but now I can't do anything." Ralph lamented.

"He hasn't even given you your powers." Deacon remarked.

"Who are you talking about?" Ralph asked, confused.

"Just look for something to cut it with." Deacon stated.

Ralph got up and started looking around the cave. He took a deep breath, shut his eyes, and tried to teleport, but he didn't feel anything. He slowly opened his eyes and realized he was still in the cave.

He looked at his hands.

"What's wrong, Ralph?" Deacon asked

"I...I can't teleport." Ralph stuttered.

Deacon sighed. Ralph has lost his powers and he doesn't even know how he can get them back.

Ralph was frustrated and shattered. He didn't know what to do. It was like a part of him was missing.

"Where is Lucinda?" Ralph asked bluntly.

"That's not important. Just know that she is a liar and a demon you don't want to associate yourself with." Deacon stated coldly.

Ralph was stunned. "What are you saying? Why are you calling Lucinda a demon?" Ralph asked curiously.

"It is because that's what she is she is the cost of your downfall; the reason you have lost your powers..." Ralph cut in.

"Stop!! Lucinda is my love, my angel you are lying." Ralph yelled at the top of his lungs.

"I can't hide the truth from you anymore. She is the bride of Lucifer." Deacon stated.

"Shut up! Stop talking. I don't want to hear another hate speech against Lucinda. I am going to see her!" Ralph ranted, walking away.

"Does this mean you want to leave me in this situation because of that witch Queen?" Deacon asked rudely.
