Chapter 8.

As if sleeping with his girlfriend wasn't enough, he had to ask her about him.

"What about Joseph, I thought he is your boyfriend?

Joseph heard the question as the video continued, hearing her beg him to sleep with her, he was scared to hear what she was going to say about him, he couldn't believe his ears when she said she only agreed to become friends with him so that he wouldn't feel bad, she even said no woman in her right senses would fall for a guy like Joseph, she said he was almost blind and could do nothing without his glasses, she said she was with him out of pity, but since she met him (Andrew) her life is no longer the same, she was now experiencing what true love was about. Then she continued to beg him to sleep with her.

Joseph removed his glasses and could really not see much after wards, he really didn't want to see what happened next, but he could hear clearly, they were having sex, and his village girlfriend was shouting like a mad dog. How foolish he was to think a girl as beautiful and curvy as Stella could fall for someone like him.

As if what Andrew did was not enough, as if sleeping with his girlfriend whom he invited to the City to visit them at school because Andrew told him it was the right thing to do was not enough, as if mocking his condition wasn't enough, he had to invite his evil group to watch the video as well, they were busy laughing at him as they watch him stand by the door, that was the worse day of his life, he was humiliated, he wanted to cry, he wanted to fight but he only ended up walking away.

That day, Joseph couldn't understand why everything was working against him, he wanted to feel like every other  normal person, he wanted to be admired by girls, he wanted to feel like the baddest four in school only that he would make them number five, the evil baddest four, they were the four most wealthy students in the school, and they were out to make life miserable for anyone who was against them.

Joseph wondered if the world was only after money. He was sure Stella liked him atleast, he had taught her things she didn't know when they had met at the village and she was naturally throwing herself at him but just few minutes ago she had denied him, and said ugly things about him, because of money. He knew his family isn't  as wealthy as the Baddest four, but they weren't so poor, they were comfortable and he could take good care of any body he chooses to take care of, he resolved to stay away from the evil group, and firm his own group. Group of people who were willing to study and learn, he needed to become better.

He was just a puppet for the evil group, he was the one that helps them with their school work yet anyone who could bribe better always gets the highest mark on all their test, even if they performed badly. He was always ranking number five after the four. Andrew couldn't even practice anything related to biochemistry by the time he was out of school, his parents knew this so they made him a director in one of their companies, where he seemed to be doing very well.

With the new resolution, Joseph went to school the next day, he tried to act like nothing happened. He was glad he wasn't going to see Andrew, though they shared courses together but they were not in the same department. When Joseph got to his department, he was shocked as to how everyone in the school had seen the video, he never thought Andrew could show more people something like that, he wondered where he went wrong, he wondered how  he had ever wronged him. He was always serving him and his friends, Andrew even use to share some personal informations with him that Joseph was sure he didn't share with anyone, how then did it happen that he was humiliating him so much In front of the world.

That day again, Joseph went back to his lodge, he didn't come out for the rest of the day, he was indoor throughout, that semester his grades were affected because he was more at home than at school. 

He expected Andrew to apologise but he didn't, he expected someone to visit him but once again no one came, he decided to take his life back and not become like them, he was going to take his studies seriously, that was his new resolution, and even if they would continue to mock him, he was only going to continue to stay strong.

When he resumed, he still notice people staring at him  but he was only interested in the lecturer. He stopped seeking for the baddest four, he stopped talking with them and helping them with their assignments.

Since his mum passed on, his father had been his only friend, and he had been more supportive than he could ask for, he decided to get his grades up again by studying the way he should. He would always watch Andrew laugh at something his gang said and sometimes they would look his way but he pretended not to notice them, he was not going to let his eye problem be a mental problem to him, he was going to take care of his problems and stop looking for friends.

Even Andrew was surprised at the new Joseph.
