Chapter 44

44.

They three of them sat down to eat. 

They were all eating in silence.

The atmosphere have been initially tensed and no body wanted to talk about anything.

As soon as Miles was done eating, he could sense that his presence was no longer needed. He wanted to leave but he still have not discussed with Anna. He needed sometime with her.

"I need to go somewhere"

Andrew finally said before Miles could open his mouth to say he wanted to leave. Anna didn't bother asking her husband where he wanted to go to. She just nodded and watch was he left the house and soon enough she could hear the car leaving  the estate.

"Oh thank Goodness he left, I thought he would never leave"

Miles said as he pulled his seat close to Anna and asked in a low tone as if someone could be listening.

"How bad is my brother's condition?

He had been trying to act all string I front of Andrew but he was really worried about him. he wanted to hear from the horse himself but he seems not to be in the talking  business.

"Well I think he will live" was the simple answer she gave him and he couldn't ask any more question about his health because she seemed to be growing well with it.

"So are you going to leave him?

He didn't know when the question left his lips. He Initially had it In mind but it finally came out.

"I really don't know. I am going through alot right now and I cannot make up my mind yet. But I want to help him go through everything the best way that u can"

Her answer was sweet and she appreciated the fact that she was truthfully to him.

"I think with my parents involved, he could get more help.

"Well if there is any available help, we would appreciate.

Miles could see that Anna wasn't really interested in making longer conversations. 

He just wanted to know what she was thinking, if she was still thinking of leaving his brother but so far her answer have only proved that she loves Andrew and was willing to help. He watched as she started singing a Christian song while clearing the plates a d washing the dishes.

He admired her, though she was married into a wealthy family, she still loves to do chores herself without calling any of any help.

Though had ate at the kitchen and the maids may not know as they didn't leave the kitchen to the dinning room.

"Only you can do, what no man can do ehh.

Only you can say what no man can say eh.

Her voice was not so melodious but this was the first time Miles was seeing her pray, she doesn't even attend church service, she seems not to believe in God.

But he was happy to find her singing, it seems the situation was bringing in her religious part out.
