Chapter 119

Anna could no longer hide, now that     Andrew was awake and could make          few statements, he was still not able to remember her, this could very well be her chance to run away, this could be the   chance she had been waiting for, but she still had no where to run to. the enemies you know they say, us better than the friends you don't know.

Anna was looking too pale, she had lost weight since the last two month, she was obviously pregnant and she could no longer hide it, the only thing they didn't know was who was responsible.

"so this was what you were telling the doctor, not to tell us the other day?

her mother inlaw asked smiling incessantly at her.

why didn't you want us to know?

she inquired further.

Anna didn't know how she was to answer, she smiled back at her and gave the exact same reason she gave the female doctor that discovered she was pregnant.

"I didn't want to be added to your list of worries, it was enough that Andrew was scaring the living day light out of everyone, now to have another cause for worry would be too much, so I told the doctor not to let you all know just yet"

"well, pregnancy is never a thing of worry, but a thing of joy, we are so happy to have an addition to us.

Anna prayed silently that she didn't inquire any further.

now, on no account should you stress yourself, you should rest more and never over work yourself, we have enough maid, allow them do their job, stop doing their job for them.

Anna rolled her eyes, this was one of the things she was seriously avoiding.

"you must also eat more of fruits, no more junk food, no more late hour food and make sure you take enough water.

Anna cut her in, she was already tired of hearing so many pregnancy rules and regulations.

"this is not my first pregnancy mother, please don't make me feel strange, she snapped.

"alright I know this is not your first pregnancy, but you should know every pregnancy is different, you can never compare them, though they may be similar with the portruding belly and all, they could have some differences when it comes to feelings and reactions.

"alright mum, I will try and take care of myself, now can I go and see Andrew?

"sure you can go dear" she said and kissed her on the cheek, Anna was happy to have her as a mother, she couldn't ask for a better mother inlaw, her only fear was soon enough, her secret would come out in the open.

no body was talking about her now because they really do not know if Andrew had been with her after she got back or not, even Miles had heard them the other day, it had felt like they were having a mind blowing sex, he couldn't doubt her one bit, but it was obvious that Anna was not happy, alot of people blamed her unhappiness to the situation with Andrew.

Anna got to the hospital, it was quiet, the foreign doctors were still around, but the crowd visiting Andrew had reduced, the family now takes it in turn to stay with him, but Anna was always visiting.

she had cried the other day when Andrew woke up, she came with Angel and he could not recognize either of them.

"what is wrong with Daddy?

Angel had asked her and she had cried instead of responding.

Andrew must have felt it too because he pulled her close and consoled her.

Anna had to send Angel back to stay with Petranilla, she was better off there, with them.

"hello love!

she greeted and kissed his lips, he looked away immediately, he was angry that he couldn't remember her, though she kept coming everyday, he could still not recognize her, the only good thing was that her voice was very familiar, but he had no memories of her.

"hello! he responded back, he must be tires of fighting already, Peter was happy to be relieved off his duty, they were taking it in turn to look after their brother, though he could only recognize their parents and their eldest brother Anthony.

the doctors had promised that there would  soon be a change,  Andrew would regain his memory and things would be back to normal.

"Anna held his hands close, smiling at him"

I love you Andrew, I really do, I may not be able to bring back your memory of me, but please I can wait, and I am willing to create beautiful new memories with you.

her words sank deep into him and he let out a tear, he felt he was with a stranger, but his mother and father had assured him that she was his wife and also, she was carrying his unborn child, Andrew had been happy, even when he held Angel close, he felt happy and always wanted to have Angel close to him at all cost.

Andrew wanted to tell her, he loved her too, but he just couldn't say it, he wasn't sure if he really loves her or he was pitying her, he decided not to talk.

"thank you" he said and Anna felt her heart break into tiny million pieces, there was nothing she could do, every one seem to be seeking the the same answer, she had been seeking since like forever, but here she was faced with the answer but she just couldn't do much.

"do you remember anything today? she asked him, holding his  cheek 

"no I dont! he answered feeling dejected, he didn't want to talk much about it, but Anna didn't look to him like a woman who was willing to give up anytime soon, she was going to pester him, till she got everything she needed from him. Anna thought of what she was about to do, she looked around her and noticed that she was all alone. she then bent down and whispered.

"can I kiss you?
