Chapter 79.

Nurse prisca stopped, as she heard his voice behind her, she wanted to run away. Baby sitting a grown up man was not what she wanted to do at the time, but she had no choice now. She would have to stay and do as the head doctor have instructed.

"Sure doc; I am going to be here"

"Well good, because I need to know exactly when he wakes up.

"No problems doc, I will just sit right here"

She said, pulling one of the single seat closed to her  out.

As he was about to walk out, he heard a moaning sound, he turned to see who it was. Joseph was awake.

"Hello my friend, welcome back.

Joseph smiled and tried to sit up but he felt the pain in his side and he groaned.

"Ahhhhh"

Came the loud groan in pain.

"The pain is massive"

He cried, going back to his former sleeping position with the help of nurse Prisca who was happy that she would not be stuck to babysit him.

"And it will be more than that, if you do not go back to bed immediately!

What were you thinking trying to sit up?

Walter signalled Prisca to leave. She rushed to the door without looking back.

"How do you feel?

Doctor Walter asked, taking his seat close to him. It was the same seat Prisca had hurriedly left.

"That nurse was almost getting bored with all the Lecture  you were giving her on stab wounds"

He said and the both of them laughed.

She is a nurse on training and she is still new to all this"

Walter added.

"She asked for it so I had to give it to her"

So back to my question. How do you feel?

Joseph paused for a while before answering. He really wished he wouldn't he would be free from talking to people about what happened to him.

"I feel better"

He said simply and looked away.

"Was it a homicide?

Because if it is you need to get the person arrested"

Joseph looked back at him.

What are you saying doctor Walter?

You cannot arrest anyone. It was an accident. No body wants a lonely man like me dead.

So it is not a homicide.

"Well thank God about that, but what about you.

He asked looking deep into his eyes not blinking for even a second.

Joseph was trying to read his expression but saw nothing in there.

"What about me?

He asked back not wanting to be too forward.

"What is going on in your life right now?

You see, we are brothers, we are colleagues, we are friends. If there is anything at all bothering you, you should tell someone. You have to tell someone"

Joseph could tell something was wrong, something must have happened from the time he passed out to this time.

Doctor Walter was finding it difficult to hit the nail on the head.

He wanted to so much to just ask him why he manipulated his patients health result.

He wanted to know why he used someone else's result for another, but how to ask was a problem.

He looked at his friend who was still busy trying to read him, before he spoke again.

"Is Andrew Anderson really HIV positive?
