Chapter 162

"The baby is going to be another girl, we have enough boys on the family, we want a girl," Mrs. Anderson said as she made herself comfortable on the bed beside petra.

"Paul tapped his brother's shoulder and asked.." Hey silly, how do you feel now?

"Ouch, that was painful! He almost cried.

" No apologies, so back to my question, How do you feel, soon you will be a father huh" 

"Well, I have always wanted to feel like you all feel, maybe now I would have something else to think about other than smashing your head on that wall," he said pointing at the hospital wall.

Paul stood up and jumped on his back and covered his face.

"Let us see whose head will be smashed on the wall now? He said and Peter started shaking and moving towards the wall, he was aiming to throw his brother down.

" you are both going to injure yourselves" his mother cried and she looked around for something that looks like a came and started hitting Paul who jumped down immediately.

"Look at these grown-ups behaving like kids.

Peter even had to chase Paul outside the room and every other person started laughing.

If they had been at home they would have probably fought.

Peter soon came back, breathing hard as he had run for miles.

" Angel says the baby would be a boy, so I guess a boy it is," Petra said and they all looked at the sleeping Angel.

"Poor kid, she must be missing her mother so much, just that, Anna is a bad mother, to leave her child and run away" precious commented.

"When Andrew keels sending her to the hospital, what do you expect? Petra defended.

" Why won't he, she deserves everything she gets, she was busy sleeping with that dead doctor.

"She said she was drugged or something"

"That is what she will say, but why did she not speak up the very minute she found out what had happened, she did not even try to take a pill or something.

" If you... Petra tried to speak, but Mr. Anderson who just walked back in from making a call,  yelled at them to stop.

Enough! This is the last time I hear anybody talk about the missing Anna, she is no longer a member of the Anderson family and she would stay where ever she is forever I don't care as long as she does not come out to spoil things for me.

Everybody became quiet, nobody speaks when the boss himself was talking, they had not known that he was coming back in immediately, they would not have started the argument at all.

Miles did not have anything to say, he had been quiet since he walked in with his family, soon he kissed Petranilla on the forehead and bade bye to the rest.

Gradually they all started leaving one after the other and soon, they were left alone again.

"I know you want to go, you can go," she said to her husband who was supposed to go see a match between Chelsea FC and Manchester United.

"I don't want to leave your side," he said and hugged her, acting like a baby.

"Just go already, I will be fine, I mow you want to see the match, besides I am in the hospital, will leave when you get back, the doctor said he would discharge me in the evening.

But before you go, I was meaning to ask, what did he call you in there for? Is there a complication? She asked looking worried, since she has been trying and it did not happen, she was worried that there was some other thing wrong with her.

" Oh no, not at all,  ( he shook his head and tries to make her feel better, by teasing her) he was just telling me to take care of you, and make sure you don't stress yourself and also to see to eat that I make love to you every other day. He smiles and she shrugged him off, looking at the sleeping Angel not to wake her up.

" Hell no, he did not say that," she said louder than she had wanted to, then she covered her mouth with her hands.

" He did, I could even start now" he teased further and tries to hold the hem of her dress, she dragged it with her.

"Go away you pervert" she cursed, laughing.

"I am going to show you what a pervert I can be" he teased and she held her Tommy and winced in pain, pretending to be in pain.

He looked confused at her, like if he had done something wrong.

But then she continued and he came close to her, but knowing what to do, he looked all scared and confused.

"Oh my God, are you okay? She did not respond to him so he moved swiftly to go get the doctor, but as he got to the door, she started laughing, and that she stick out her tongue to show him that she had been pulling his legs.

He held his chest.

Damn girl, you scared the living daylight kit of me" he said as she continued to laugh.

Please don't do that again; he pleaded, looking serious, " I won't " she said simply and he walked towards her and kissed her lips.

"Are you sure you want me to go? He asked. Even though he knows what she was going to say, he still asked, just to fulfill all righteousness.

Yes please, before I give you a heart attack. But don't stay there arguing all day, I don't want the driver taking us home, it is you I want so I will be waiting in this hospital room for you.

" I will call you every minute of the time," he said and kissed her again, before leaving.

"Just go already," she said as his lips stayed longer than just the normal time for a peck.

"I love you okay? He said when he got to the door.

" I love you more" she replied and made a kiss sign.

He finally left and she sighs.

Goodbye was indeed the longest part of a conversation between lovers.

And it Is the saddest word too because the moment he was gone and Angel was still sleeping, she felt lonely.
