Chapter 200

The chaos was already getting too much. Joseph knew he needed to do something, they needed to run as fast as their legs could carry them.

Angel was now with her mother, she didn't have any complications, while bringing forth her babies, so she needed to be discharged, so that he could do the rest at home.

"We need to get out of here". Maxwell also came and told him and with that, he started packing.

"Anna sensed they wanted to leave, she was with her daughter, and her children, Joseph then went to meet with the doctor, who also agreed with him, telling him to be careful.

Joseph carried his children all three of them, while Anna managed to walk out with Angel, who was feeling really sleepy.

The entire ride home was quiet, and really smooth, for the first time, since Joseph have known his uncle, he was driving like a sane person.

"What is going to happen now? Anna spoke up, and even though she had asked in a really low tone, and it almost came out like a whisper, because of the serenity of the road, it sounded so loud.

"I don't know". Joseph answered, but then Maxwell spoke up.

"I will repeat what I have said before, this is the opportunity you need to make use of, think about what will happen from now on, Andrew will get even crazier, he will end up blaming Anna for killing his father". He said, still having his eyes on the road.

"Is he dead? Anna asked, looking scared at him, bit Joseph answered.

"He is not dead, as a matter of fact, he won't die, he is going to live, the doctors are going to take good care of him, but he might wake up with a disability". He guessed, after all he is a doctor, and he knows these things just by looking at the incident.

"If that be the case, what do you think Anderson will do, do you think he is going to let you rest? That man and his son, will hunt the both of you down, and soon, they will know who you are, your disguise will soon be discovered, do you know how many times you spoke with your real voice at the hospital, Do you know how many times, Andrew took a Stern look at you?

This is the time, you need to leave this country, and start your life with these kids else where, I can already see, that things are going to get really crazy.

"Uncle, things are too complicated right now, we cannot just leave, look at Anna, leaving her parents and leaving the country.

Look at the the little children, they cannot travel now, it is not good for their health, we need at least a month, before we can think of going anywhere". Anna was quiet all through, she didn't know what to say, she understands the both of them, they are both right, bit then, she needed to think of the safety of her children first, they are her top priority.

"I am scared, I feel something terrible is about to happen, so I think we need to listen to elder Maxwell, we should sell the green house, get out the treasure and sell them too and then sail away to one African country, where they don't really look into things as much as they do in the white countries. We can be really happy there, and things might just begin to work well for us".

"Now you are talking, I have said it before, and you guys have bluntly refused, but now, that you are begining to see reasons with me, then maybe, just maybe, there is hope, to prevent the evil that is locking around your vineyard". He spoke like a real  pastor. Joseph rolled his eyes, he had never really believed in running, he wants to stand and fight, and that was why he kept saying No to Maxwell, but now that Anna was thinking the same thing, he would have to do just that.

They soon got to the village, and everywhere still remained calm, the babies, were also sleeping, Joseph was worried about them catching a cold, because of the snow.

She started a fire in the chimney, and sat down close to it, Joseph went to make her something to eat, she needed to be eating as much as she can, to prevent her from falling sick, since she needed food to help her lactate well.

Maxwell said he was leaving that same night, but Anna refused.

"This is your home too, you cannot leave by this time of the morning, we need you here". Joseph was about to tell his uncle that exact same thing, before Anna voiced it out, right now, he needs all the hands that he could get,  allowing his uncle go, to do nothing in particular was not looking important to him.

"I don't know if Joseph wants me to stay, you know, he loves to be alone". That was not exactly what he wanted to say, but he just remembered, that the tensed up situation at the moment welcomes no joke.

"Please uncle, you know we need hands here, Anna just gave birth to three babies, not one, and I havey older daughter here yo look after, I cannot  do it alone, please stay". Joseph pleaded and he nodded, agreeing to stay.

"I don't have anywhere to go or anything I am doing, this is my family now, but what I want is for you guys to be happy, you cannot hide forever, but it is better you move away from here, if the watching eye of the Anderson won't let you, then you should totally go away to somewhere you can be free". Joseph rolled his eyes, he didn't want to raise the same topic he had concluded already again.

"Uncle I have told you to give us at least a month, as a doctor,travelling with new babies under a week, is not very advisable, we still have time, Andrew is in prison, with his brother, and .Mr Andersons is in the hospital, and he may need to be there for longer than expected, so before they know what is going on, we are gone". Joseph was talking with all boldness, forgetting that things may not work out the way he just stated it.

"You sound like you have not know this people, you literally grew up with that family, you know them, you know more about them, than I could know.

If Mr Anderson wakes up, he is going to want to take revenge on you for what you have done to his son, his son, will also not stay in the cell for more than 24hours, his father cannot charge him, he never meant to shoot his father, it was a mistake, and we all know it, so there is no way he is going to charge his son, but you, it would be believed, that all that happened, was because of Anna, and already since they have disowned you, Andrew have not, he still wants you, for some reason, that I cannot understand.

"So uncle what are you saying? What I am saying is that, I will process everything, get a buyer for the house and everything on it and help you both escape to Africa with your children, you can start your life there.

The blacks are wonderful people, they love the white people so much, they see them as a god, you can get a house, build  and live comfortably". He was still saying the same thing. Anna looked at him and asked again. What is your suggestion.

"At most two weeks, let's leave this place two weeks from now".

Joseph was not comfortable with what they have just suggested, but Anna also seem to buy the idea, so he almost do not have a choice about it.

Anna could see that Joseph was not happy about leaving, being a doctor, he must be calculating so many things and giving him so many reasons why they should not leave, but then, if it is going to be for their own safety, then they should totally comply.

"I know you are not comfortable with the whole idea of running away in less than two weeks, but I think your uncle is right, if Andrew can do this to his own father, he was initially aiming at his brother, then you should know, that he could do anything, he could even kill these kids, a d if he does, I won't be able to forgive myself, I had only told my parents to come and visit me in the morning, but now if they come, they won't find me, do you think I feel comfortable, leaving them? It feels like I am leaving my life behind, but as long as you are there, as long as you are involved, then I know I won't feel lonely, I will always be happy with you around, but I need you to help make our movement okay, by agreeing with your whole heart.
