"She is still responding to the machine but very slowly and that is very bad ".he muttered out those words while staring at me with a worried look.

I stood up from the chair with the doctor looking at me with curiosity.

"How long does she have left?"

He was here and I didn't know.

I walk back to the doctor whose curious eyes were on me
