Chapter 13

We sit for a while there and I pause to catch my breath. At least we can sneak in at lunch, and avoid being noticed by the throng of students. It beats walking dead straight into a classroom full of people, who have probably heard the news about your breakup, and probably have the video of you begging like some wench in thier galleries. Eras coughs slowly again and my attention goes back to him. He and his fine ass face. This boy will be the end of me. I can already imagine the headline forming in my head, "Stuck up bitch gets dumped by caring boyfriend, only to arrive at school the next day at lunchtime and with a guy in tow".

The originality of my own headline sickens me, as I find out exactly what sort of an opinion I have of myself. I see Eras staring at me, and I get the feeling that the fake cough wasn't just to bring me to attention once more.

Slowly I look out the front paneled glass and I catch a sea of faces staring at us, or more specifically at this car. Even the rich kids, who have thier cars parked in the school driveway and make a point of going elsewhere for lunch have a sort of shocked expression on thier faces. "What exactly are we in?" I ask and that dumb grin appears on his face again "Something that has four wheels and can move...?" He replies and I let out an audile groan.

"What model is this four wheeled moving object?". His hesitation to answer me makes me almost kill myself. I'm dead. I'm freaking dead. I get off, and I can hear the door beside mine slam shut too. I don't know anything about cars or car brands but I'm sure that this one costs a hell of a lot of money. It has that sort of gleam, that tells you you better not scratch it or even lean on it too much.

"It's just a Bugatti" Eras says quietly and my eyes widen in surprise, though shock is more like it. " A Bugatti?" I say and he catches the look of fury in my eyes "You rode a Bugatti to school???" I say almost shouting and he looks at me bewildered "I told you it's not exactly the sort of car I take to school!!" He says and I face palm myself. "Who sent you to me?" I ask and he gives me a confused expression. "How much is my aunt paying you to do this?" I ask and he scoffs. "I remember someone telling me that as long as it has four wheels and can move, it can get us to school. I gave you fair warning".

He ends his explanation with a shrug and I can feel all my strength come crashing down. I just unknowingly got myself into trouble. I sigh and almost begin to accept my fate when I catch familiar eyes staring back at me, two pairs for that matter. It's Aron farther off, but closer it's the guy from this morning. The one who had made me fall into a mud puddle. The same one I had helped up from the same puddle of mud.
