Chapter 95

It seems some people really have a penchant for dangerous situations, and I can't help but look at the perfectly vaulted ceiling of this restaurant, and ask all the gods in the sky, why is this happening???. Why is all this drama suddenly coming into my life today?.

Where are the days when someone can simply sit down, and enjoy a perfect lunch, without experiencing emotional stress and dealing with all the drama that should have separated itself out bit by bit for two years.

The guy goes crashing down onto the floor with the force of the punch, and I look up to see who exactly has decided to save my brother's lips from being bruised and battered.

At first the sea green eyes, and honey brown hair does not trigger any sort of recollection in my memory. It takes me a while to remember that this is actually the person who we were talking about before all this drama began happening.

It shocks the living daylight out of me to see that it is actually Oliver, who is standing beside Scott, looking down at the sprawled out form of this stupid, stupid, guy.

The guy carries disbelief and shock in his eyes, and I can't say he's the only one that is experiencing that right now. Oliver  isn't the type of kid you would find getting into trouble, or involving himself in fight, so why does he suddenly punch someone he barely knows, or does this story go deeper than I know.

I simply decide to keep quiet once more and allow the events unfold naturally in front of me. The guy is wearing all the shock and embarrassment one face could possibly carry, and I almost feel sorry for him.

He didn't know who he was messing with before he even came here, and I'm guessing he thinks Scott is some person he can push around anyhow he likes.

The sad truth is that, that is exactly the opposite of what Scott truly is. True, Scott doesn't have barely enough physical strength, but he will find a way to get back at you and he will spread your suffering out in two to five years what of pain and suffering.

It might seem like something girlish and immature for supposedly masculine and muscled guys to do, but yet Scott isn't that kind of person.

It seems he has figured out who exactly he is pretty early in life, and he's sticking to the road that seems more comfortable to him.

He isn't the sort of guy that would jump into a fight without considering himself first. He isn't hot-headed like every other guy I seem to know, he isn't irrational and sex hungry, he's probably the most rational guy I know, and I think that is where his power lies.

He doesn't do things that will not benefit him, and I think being beaten doesn't stand to benefit him any tiny bit.

I hear someone's cough just beside me, and I look to see Scott staring at Oliver with fury in his eyes.
