My brother simply went flying back, like a balloon that someone hit with a little bit of force, only for it to move back so dangerously that it surprised everyone who was present.
I can already see the surprised look in Scotts eyes as he finds himself from walking to being on the floor, and by the way he landed so roughly on his butt, I doubt it would have been anything pleasant.
I'm actually restraining myself from laughing here and I cover my mouth with my hand while trying to help him up. Oakley simply walks a few feet away to laugh her ass off, and I wish I also had that sort of liberty.
As his sister I can't walk off when my brother is on the floor because I want to laugh, so i help him up and our eyes go to find who he has bumped into.
"Are you freaking kidding me?" Scott says when his eyes find golden flecked ones. I wonder exactly what Eras is doing outside this early in the morning, but what the heck, it isn't that early, we are practically leaving for school but still, he doesn't live around here does he?.
"Are you really that light?" he asks my brother and Scott's displeased look becomes even more exaggerated on his face.
"Were you blind?, couldn't you see I was walking there?".
"You were walking and keeping track of the movement of a butterfly at the same time, I can call that reckless any day".
I simply sigh and pinch the bridge of my nose. I'm guessing that their little enemity is back, all the pleasantness that made my brother temporarily forget about Adrian was gone, that amiable character from last night simply disappeared, now they are back to bickering like little kids who cannot control themselves.
"Good morning Eras".I say and his eyes finally slide to me, he gives me a really radiant smile, a really radiant smile that makes me feel a little bit of heat behind my ears, and he waves back at me.
"Tell your brother to get himself some glasses, unless he'll end up inevitable bumping into someone who does not like it?".
"Are you saying you enjoyed being bumped into?" Scott asks and Eras simply shrugs. He gets to picking up the things that he dropped while he bumped into my brother and I can say that it is quite a lot.
"Anything happening today?" I ask him and he simply shakes his head.
"My aunt says that I have to get an even higher grade this time if I want to keep on living the free life I live, and so I realised I might as well just get started now".
Sure enough what is on the floor consist of textbooks, I can even glimpse something of an history textbook in there and I wonder exactly how many courses he takes.
"Don't you kill yourself from reading all these" Scott says in a condescending manner.
"No problem, you can help me then". The look on Scott's face is comical.
