Chapter 255

My life is a joke, it is a simple joke which some inevitable existence of nature has decided to poop on me.

Because exactly how is Adrian, Adrian the one whom I thought would be at an endorsement deal today, exactly how is this person in front of me looking like he is about to run wild at something that i cannot place.

Mrs Jones looks at me like she doesn't understand what is going on here, and I'm guessing that this woman was just in tears a few moments ago. It is actually very impressive the way her expression suddenly changes, you wouldn't know that she had been crying her heart out to me if you looked at her now.

She was simply looking between the both of us and I can all but imagine what was going through her mind right now.

Angry boyfriend has decided to come home to meet his girl because she has offended him in some way.

Well that is not what is happening, and that is never what is going to happen, and I do not know I am having these thoughts anyway. She stands up and she gives me something of a short bob and I nod my head really grateful for the simple sense she has to excuse me in this dilema.

While I'm not sure if Scott would feel embarrassed if the washer lady was to hear anything about what was going on between him and Adrian, I'm pretty sure that he isn't ready to deal with this right now, and knowing that I had let this little dilemma slip in front of her wouldn't make me safe, he won't be too happy about that because even if I discussed it in front of her, there is always the possibility that she would not know what I was talking about or she would.

I always respect the fact that he is thinking something totally unlikely about every situation, but I throw all those way for now, and focus on the problem standing in front of me.

Adrian's platinum hair never ceases to surprise me. It makes him look like something that had jumped out of a painting, a really really beautiful painting that is totally online and found anywhere in the world. He looks like a mini god the way he's standing in front of me, looking at me with that sultry look in his eyes like he might as well just get on his knees in front of me and beg me to grant him one desperate wish.

We stand there for a number of minutes, like that with me looking at how handsome he is, and him looking at me and me gauging my reaction.

Well he hasn't said anything about anything, and there's nothing to do but stay in this awkward silence up till now, but I'm tired now.

"I'd be lying if I said I didn't know what you came for. I thought you were going to have an endorsement deal this afternoon" I say to him finally deciding to break the silence.

The awry smile he gives me makes me know that i had just been played.
