Chapter 272

"Will you keep on standing there doing nothing, or should I come and prepare something?" Scott says.

"I thought you were asleep" and by the sound of his voice he is. Okay he's not really asleep as much as he's waiting to go to sleep, but him actually offering to come prepare something is strange.

"Are you sure you're okay?" I ask him, and he nods his head.

"I'm perfectly fine, and would you stop asking me that question?".

I chuckle a little bit at this and he gives me a smile. He stands up clapping his hands and rubbing them together. I'm guessing he wants to wake himself up this way, and it is undeniably cool and cute of my brother to do this.

Scott on a normal is always sultry, so I'm really delighted to be seeing this other part of him.

"Why don't you invite someone like Clay or Eras, so at least you can have some company and stop standing around like a weirdo?".

I shoot him a glare at this term he decides to use.

"Weirdo?" I say and he shoots me a pointed look.

"You are. You've been standing around for fifteen minutes now".

Okay, I'm guessing, I mean standing around for fifteen minutes is somehow weird, but what else does he expect me to do. I am nervous, I am so freaking nervous and I do not know why.

I open my phone and I tap out a number, a number that I had un intentionally memorized, even if I do not know why I had done it.

Eras's number for some strange reason isn't on my phone. I know that I had collected Clay's the other day, but I did not want to call Clay now. I really dread the effects of our conversation from this afternoon. It had ended on a sour note and I don't want to feel even more nervous while I am around him, so I'm guessing that have to settle for Eras.

He just didn't actually give me his number. I had picked up his phone one day and I had typed the code that would reveal a person's number, at least the number he was using on that particular phone that is, and I had taken enough time to memorize it.

If it was physics or biology, or chemistry, or literature, or even English language, it would not have stuck into my head the way this number didn. Even their mathematics would not have gotten stuck in here the way this number decided to stick into my brain, but Eras's number stuck to it like ants to honey, sorry, was it as to ants to sugar, anyone you can get out of that at the moment.

At even the thought of his number, a voice was already reciting it in my head, it already came up. I was reading, reciting his number, and I tap it out on my phone.

Now the only thing that is left to do is to hit the call button. Once I hit the call button, I would have to endure a call from Eras.

It should be easy right, I don't even know why I'm so nervous right now.
