Chapter 275

I carry my luggage even though it is considerably smaller now and I walk into the kitchen.

You know i had expected i would see a different picture, i had expected to see something like an argument or at least a weak reconcilation, but Adrian and Scott simply stood there, looking as awkward as anyone could ever look in this sort of a situation.

"Are you guys still not going to speak to each other?" I ask the both of them and Scott simply shrugs.

"There's nothing to speak about".

Adrian walks out of the kitchen as fast as he can and I simply shrug.

"What are you preparing?" I ask Scott and he gives me a sly smile.

"Now what do you think I will be able to prepare drunk?" he asks, and I finally look at what he was heating on the fire. Well I'd known something was up when I saw him simply standing in front of the pots, refusing to look anywhere else but yet my brother can simply act up sometimes.

The moment he turned his back around, I saw that nothing was there, nothing except a pot of boiling water and I scrunch my face at this ardent misuse of electricity.

"What are you planning to use that for?" I ask and he shrugs his shoulders "anything you want to use it for. I'm off to get myself some ice cream".

I nod my head complacently at this as I had already ordered pizza anyway and so the battle for food was already over, but then something caught my attention, something that he had just said. ice cream.

"Hey!!!, who told you I got the ice cream for you?" I say walking towards the storage room. My hands basically has the most high tech of equipment, well not equipment as much as it is home equipment, but still exactly who would have a walk-in freezer.

Most of the time it's not even as cold as you would expect it to be, but still the things that we keep in there never get old, the ice cream is never half melted, everything is as solid as ice in there, if you were to walk in there you wouldn't even notice the cold, one of the effects of having too much money at your disposal I'm guessing and I chuckle at myself at this.

I walk as quickly as my legs will take me, determined to catch Scott in the nick of time as he steals my ice cream, I can use that to exchange for a favour next time and I already know what I want.

Suddenly I seem to notice exactly how long this particular hallway is until it strikes me, I have taken the wrong one, the storage room was a turn around the left and I had turned at the right.

I groan to myself as I begin running, Scott must be halfway through my ice cream at this point and I wouldn't even get anything in return. This is simply horrible.
