Chapter 339

"Do you know why your brother's smiling like that?" Eras says to me and I shake my head. I shake my head because I do not know why and it scares me.

"Maybe he's happy Adrian is here" I say making my voice a bit loud, and i have to tell you it is the funniest thing to see Scott choking.

It is the funniest thing to see him choking on a smoothie that Adrian himself has practically passed to him.

He shoots me a glare, a glare that makes me want to dig open the earth and simply throw myself into the middle but yet I smile back at him.

Oakley is almost laughing her head off and I'm pretty sure that we are causing a scene in here.

We are causing a scene in here but yet no one seems to care, everyone is simply looking at Adrian, everyone is taking pictures of him. I can practically see some eyes twinkling as they take in the setting which is around.

I'm guessing that this is going to get on the internet one way or the other and I wonder why I had not asked Adrian to simply do something similar to what he had done that day at the fashion house.

At least he had reserved the whole place just for Scott's birthday but right now, they're practically a million people here.

Scott's smiles to himself and he continues sipping his smoothie for the most part of it look.

Okay, to me they look like they have resolved whatever is between them, even though I do not know what is between them.

Okay, I am confused at this point. I'm confused because the signs that I am simply getting, the signs are all muddled up. Quick recap.

 It began with the time when Scott told me that he didn't know how to feel about a particular person, and then suddenly Adrian came into play, then Celaena came into play, and everything simply crashed down right in front of me. I wonder where she is now. I wonder where she is and I doubt I want to whip out my phone and check on her current insta posts, it will not be worth the time.

Still, back to my analogy.

First it was him being nervous about someone, then Adrian came in and he was happy, then Celaena came in and he became sad, I do not know if that was because of anything or if it was just because of thier friendship.

    I knew that i would surely be angry if my friend watched his girlfriend call me a thing, and then he acted all lovey-dovey in front of us with her. I mean Selena and practically treated us like we were nothing that day and Adrian practically consented to it.

I thought Scott's was angry at this because you know......, but yet he might have just been angry and sad at it because they were friends.

All right I'm guessing that I'm just walking around in circles now so I decide to leave it. Whatever wants to happen should happen fast.

Scott's smile has turned evil as he's looking behind me. I turn.
