Chapter 47 Calling Favors

.  The front desk attendant continued to type on the keyboard when she answered Jiang Nian " he would be back in a few minutes,I would let you know when he is back."

    luo Roi felt that she should drag the attendant's hair and beat who the hell was in charge,Jiang Nian grip luo Roi and dragged her back to the reception room as she could see that she was enraged.

      They went back to the reception room and luo Roi started pouting around,Jiang Nian brought out her phone to browse the web to kill time. Jiang Nian was really angry at the officer but she couldn't do a thing. She knew her country was one of the countries that had some rotten eggs in the civil service sector.

       It was around one o'clock that the attendant came into the reception room and called them out,Jiang Nian took her bag and stood up with luo Roi at the back . They were led to an office by the attendant,they got into the office to find a middle aged man sitting on the seat behind the table pressing his laptop.The attendant spoke some few words to him before she left .

       "Good afternoon,you can have your seat.Miss Mia had told me of waiting,am sorry I have one and two thing i had to do at home so i rush back," Jiang Nian nodded as she took her seat at least he was good with words,he knew how make someone of his former misgiving.

    " Miss Mia told me you are here for the person named Song Jin,how do you relate to him and what did you planned on saying."

     Jiang Nian adjusted her posture to look domineering as possible to intimidate the officer." Song Jin is employee,which I invited to Beijing since you know that his country is at war so he couldn't process the relevant documents for his entrance to China,so I told him to board a flight to Beijing and I would sort the remaining"

      Jiang Nian collect the file from luo Roi before passing it to the officer.The officer took the documents and began to scan through it one by one,after some minutes he was done then he spoke" sorry if we had disturbed you,I didn't know that he had a high level clearance into the country but I was doing my job as he had no proper documentation at that time."

           Jiang Nian nodded in acknowledgement of the officer apology but her heart was in turmoil,she knew luo Roi could get the documentation done within a day but what did she expect that she would be able to get a high level clearance for Director song. As the officer went out of the office to fetch Director song she asked luo Roi "how did you get a high level clearance within a day?,"

     luo Rou replied to her question " some people owe the Gu family some favors so I help them so I collect the favor for them."
