Chapter 172 Award Ceremony

   Jiang Nian quickly went home to get dressed, the house has been usually quiet recently as her Grandma had moved out to join some her friend since she found Jiang Nian house to be boring all she to do was to foot the bills. The clothes that Jiang Nian prepared for the event was made by an Italian designer not really popular in China but was well-known around the world, it was one of his recent masterpieces he had designed. Jiang Nian made her last check on her appearance on the mirror before she drove out of the house towards the prestige hotel, lucky the event planners was sensible enough to take in consideration that a event of this magnitude would cause heavy traffic but it was greatly reduce as the was  a traffic warden at almost every turn.

   She finally got to the prestige hotel but she realized that she made a silly newbie mistake, she should have hired a driver to take her to the event instead of driving herself there. Luckily the hotel still provides a car parking service for their visitors. She gave the key to the hotel staff and walked onto the red carpet. A lot of photographers struggled to take snap shots at her because she was nominated for a category. She granted a short interview to the press before she entered the  event center. The attendant took a look at her slip and escorted her to her table, Jiang Nian found out that Luo Roi was already seated on the table and she spotted  Lin Qian not too far off from the table.

   Butler Yan placed a knock on Gu Huo room " young master, we would be late if we don't go now. The press would be all over…" before Butler Yan could complete his sentence the room door came out  and Gu Huo came out " let go " Butler Yan had to say Gu Huo looked really handsome in the suit, it was one of his rare moment that he wore something outside his usually style of clothes after he had experience nagging for over thirty minutes from Old Gu, Old Gu he had even made it a priority upon himself to style Gu   Huo for the event.  A black G wagon was waiting at the front of the Mansion, Gu Huo was dissatisfied with the choice of the car but he had to with it since he knew that it was Old Gu instruction.

     Sometimes he usually how that Old man was still active despite his age but he didn't dare to voice it out loud, Butler Yan took a look a Gu Huo before he started the the and drove to the prestige hotel.He had a little soft spot for Gu Huo was he was the the one who brought him up along with Old Gu but seeing already in thought before he night had started dampen his mood a little bit but he knew what he got to do, he took a steam buns pack  and passed it to him.
