Chapter 273 Offset Clause

Nothing much went down for the day except making preparation with Caihong for the trip they would be having tomorrow for her birthday, Luo Roi tried to call Gu Huo cell phone but it went straight into voicemail it was when she dialed Yan Fan that she was told that he probably had a lot of work going on that it would on his way to the house. Luo Roi checked the time which was almost nine o'clock. Caihong had been waiting to see Gu Huo but she fell asleep amidst it.

   Butler Yan was sorting the legal cases that was filed against the Gu family company some of them was unavoidable and the Gu company had to fork large amount of money which wasn't to be trifled with, Gu Huo was holding the  legal suit that was by the Los Angeles state justice department on behalf of the Governor against the Gu family company asking them to pay over three hundred million dollars for the welfare of the people in the state attaching some ridiculous information on how much that the state spent on rehab and other stuff. 

     You could see a little vein bulging from Gu Huo face, the Gu family company was suffering from shortage of funds at the moment and had to cut a lot of funding and staff bonuses at the moment but  the Los Angeles justice department is pushing of a offset clause which would totally see the Gu family company totally bankrupt. Butler Yan checked his wrist watch and saw in was thirty minutes after two in the morning before he spoke " young master,I think you need to go home for a moment to sort out some of the file that you we would be taking on the trip no forgetting you need to see Caihong since you won't be around for her birthday" 

   Gu Huo paused for a moment thinking about Butler Yan words before she stood and wore his coats " Butler Yan rest a little,you are no longer strong as you used only for me to be bothering you with my problems" Butler Yan nodded at Gu Huo sentence and watched him walked out of the office room before he relieve a long breath his young master would never know the importance of family over business as he took the Gu family company as his parents legacy that must be fulfilled forgetting that he had a family of his own. Gu Huo walked into the company garage and got into his black sedan car before he drove off out of the building to his mansion.

     There was hardly a single car on the road as most drivers either went back to their home sleep or didn't plan on making a morning trip while it was still dark, he parked at the front of the mansion and got into the mansion. Luckily he was with his personal key card so he got in with a swipe of the card. He could instantly tell that Jiang Nian and others were asleep because the house was totally silent.
