Chapter 284 Setback

Even now when the incident of Luo Roi shooting had flooded the internet he hadn't made a appearance over six hours now, Caihong was a little stun that a hand was placed on her shoulder and looked to find that it was Old Gu she had being so pissed at Gu Huo that she didn't noticed when Old Gu entered the ward " My daughter you need to rest, Jiang Nian would take you back to the house to prepare a lovely meal for your mom went she arrived tomorrow " Caihong took a last looked a luo Roi with her eyes doing the goodbye greeting before she left but she knew that it wasn't the same Caihong that entered ward before came out she was already broken seeing luo Roi in  pain, Jiang Nian was waiting at the ward entrance quickly comforted Caihong as they walked into the elevator.

    Old Gu  later joined Yan Fan outside but it wasn't long that Old Gu rang ,Yan Fan quickly passed Gu Huo his phone since the caller ID suggested that the number that called him was a public number or pay phone. Old Gu answered the call after a moment of hesitation and Gu Huo's voice rang out of the phone mouthpiece.

  Gu Huo and Butler Yan had encountered a lot of setbacks during their journey back to China, they were caught within a thunderstorm and had to emergency land at the nearest country airport despite poor visuals as it was snowy all over the state. They had to deal with custom trouble and the jet had to be repaired since it took a slight hit during the thunderstorms,  Butler Yan didn't hesitate to pay the ridiculous sum for repairs and it was when they were able to verify their identity that they were allowed to use the payphone at the hangar.

    Gu Huo quickly imputed Old Gu number that was embedded into his memories, Gu Huo felt some burden was taken off him when he saw that the call connected "  How is Luo Roi? " 

   Old Gu husky voice rang out of the mouthpiece " she is okay thankfully Butler Yan was able to get the information passed through, if it wasn't the she change her posture to answered my call it would be a totally different case as her vital organ would have been hit"

    Butler Yan and Gu Huo let out a long  breath  hearing Old Gu words it was the first good news that they heard for the whole day, they was a brief silent between them as Gu Huo was trying to get over the feeling he felt when he though that he would lose luo Roi. Old Gu broke the silent " but Caihong is in a bad shape both physical and emotionally, she stole at car driving it to the hospital despite bashing in the destroying lot of public property in the process"   

   Gu Huo wasn't aware when tears began to flow from his eyes, he had let more tears on this day than ever in his life.
