Chapter 299 Quick Call

Gu Huo couldn't helped to agreed on Jiang Nian on this one when they went to the restaurant, he felt like some people were keeping distance away from him when they recognized that he was the Gu Huo from the Gu family that was taking over the news and since they found out that the Gu family company was nesting the brink of filing for bankruptcy the way a little arrogance in their eyes that was beyond their reached before but now he was the same as them.      Caihong's face was already getting pink but it was all decided that she couldn't back down now, Gu Huo was about to join them when he received a call from Butler Yan " I got to answer this call, I promised that it would be quick and I would meet you there". Gu Huo quickly detached himself from them and went back to the living room before he returned the call back to Butler Yan which instantly was answered as Butler Yan voice rang out of the mouthpiece " young master are you somewhere comfortable" 

   Gu Huo understood what Butler Yan meant  by  somewhere comfortable  and looked around before replying with affirmation.

 Inside the studio, Caihong was already with her violin  since it was her favorite  musical instrument which she loved playing because she was able to express herself better than others but there was awkward silence between them.

   Even Luo Roi couldn't help but to  fidget with Jiang Nian finger as the silent lingered on as it had been over thirty minutes since they had been waiting for Gu Huo to come back from his call since he promised that it won't be a long one and even Jiang Nian couldn't help to let out a bead of sweat this time, she knew how Caihong to feeling important and his absence came a point that he was trying to fixed things with his family and total discarded his cold aura towards his family and Caihong wasn't willing to play without him.
