Chapter 401 Interrogation Room

 Gu Huo was sitting in a upright position in the interrogation room, he had maintained this same position since he was brought in

in by the police although he didn't know which charge was levied against him but he knew that it wasn't a trivial matter since their was a lot policeman on this case which he saw when a policeman came to drop in a cup of coffee for him.

   David and Lois was at the other side of the room looking through the one way mirror, Lois was naturally impressed with Gu Huo composure their originally thought that they should wait some hours before they start the interrogation since the span time would make his thought in array but on a contrary thought he was caution as every on wanting to get is finger print on any stuff even the coffee that was brought in was left untouched " we should start with the investigation, we have all the time in the world to continued" 

  David couldn't helped but agreed with Lois on this once, he took the lead into the interrogation room as the main interrogator since they knew that bad cop - good cop strategy won't work on Gu Huo with high level of intelligence.

 Gu Huo adjusted his posture with the arrival of David " I was waiting for you for since let get on with his I am tired, the least you could do is to put me in a cell" David wasn't surprised a bit by Gu Huo words he just continued placing some file in front of Gu Huo while looking at his facial expression, " you have been arrested for money laundering and war funding, this is just a tip of the iceburg information that we have on you but if you plead guilty we would slashed your sentencing by half "

    Gu Huo expression remained unchanged as he spoke " we won't be having this discussion if you are sure of your evidence, my lawyer would take it for here" David took a stare at Gu Huo before he walked out of the interrogation room just like they had expected earlier  they got nothing from the interrogation, Lois only nod at David before giving order for Gu Huo cell arrangement she was sure that she couldn't much that David did in there.

Luo Roi had arrived back at the police headquarters in Beijing a while back although the journey took two hours and some minutes, she wanted to secure Gu bail before she came in contact with him but it didn't sound easy as she had expected since it was ministry of Justice that gave the ruling to have Gu Huo under their custody till they seem fit for him to be released.
