"How are you sure this plan of yours is going to work?" Adrian asks, I feel a little bit depressed at the fact that he does not still fully believe me, but yet when I look into his eyes I see that it's only concern that lies there.
He's concerned for my safety, he only thinks for my well-being, he doesn't want me putting myself into unnecessary risks, risks that might later end up proving nothing as they might all go sliding down the drain.
"We need to think of this very carefully, if we're to go about it this way" Arden says. I look at her with a look of appreciation, but I can see the hardened look in her eyes. She isn't doing it to benefit me, well she is, but she isn't to doing it in that way. She isn't doing it in the way that suggests she's backing me up, or defending me from the supposed distrust Adrian has in my plan.
Instead she is giving me the assurance that it going to definitely work, but we have to plan it carefully. Each and every person in this place might have an arsenal of weapons at thier disposal, requesting for a private audience and becoming their friend might just get you killed as much as actively participating and being brutal might.
"We just have to try it and see" I say to both of them, and the grunts of agreements they both give to me makes me feel a thousand times happier. They sit down and order something to eat, while my mind goes topsy-turvy over exactly who to pick as my first target.
Each and every person here is broken hearted and anxious, but some are more than others. Others are anxiously deadly, and if you would come in within five inches of them you'd find yourself dead.
Yet Some others aren't so bad after all, and if you looked closely into their eyes you would see that the anxiety that lies within isn't as dangerous as it is in the eyes of other people. You would see that they were simply anxious, and had no one else to confide in.
They didn't have a last resort, and so they would put up the tough face of being brave, while really they're just tired and lonesome.
It pained me to no end to see how this place seems to bring out the monster in each and every person. I don't think people will be able to do what they did here with a clear conscience, and hope to live a good life afterwards.
I could see the bitterness that lied in the hearts of some people, as they knew they just had to put their all into these games, but they weren't sure if their all had to be so evil. Was all this necessary, was it really necessary for the level of brutality that happened here to go on, was it really necessary for everyone to have a watch over their backs even when it came down to your best friends.
I look to Arden and Adrian discussing, and I wonder the relationship that lies between them. Are they cousins or siblings of some sort, as I can't remember Adrian telling me anything about her. To be sincere I don't know anything about her, and an alarm I try so desperately to ignore goes ringing in my head. How do I put this topic nicely???.
