Perhaps Max had not given Felix enough credit and reward for all his effort. But was that enough reason for Felix to come against him with the vampire soldiers?
The vampires on the other hand, what had he (Max) ever done to offend them?, Had he not provided everything that they had ask for? - or was it? - yes it was. As far as he could remember. Max sighed. If they had wanted anything more from him they should have just asked - even Felix would have gotten the throne of he asked... Max assumed.
Well it has already gotten to the worst. And he (max) was never known to be scared of battles. This particular was just going to be a child's play for him, becau he would win before the fight even starts -or so he thought - but he only feard for his children. Who obviously are not any more judging by their action.
Max sighed as he stood up from his throne raising azrael's blade above his head - it turned into the flaming sword.
"Those vampires still on my side can come behind me together with the human souls and trallef beings those who are not should run to Felix now. I'd give you a head start." Max thundered.
Some of the vampires around who where not yet sure of who's side they where going to fight on looked at themselves confusedly, they where not sure if Max had literally meant what he had said or if he was just trying to joke with them.
Momentary, one of the vampires made to run outside to see if he could unite with Felix and the rest of the others outside before Max would change his mind, and two other vampires also made to run behind him.
"Arrrg" the vampire shouted in pain, much to the surprise of everyone present. They looked on in horror as they saw the flaming sword dividing the body of the vampire into two parts, from the spot where Max had driven it into the vampire.
"Head start time is over, you guys already delayed - you hesitated." Max whispered as he brought out the knive from the vampire's chest and watched him drop helplessly to the ground.
At this point, the other two vampires stopped on their tracks, praying fervently in their heart that Max had not caught them trying to run away with the vampire that he had just killed.
They sighed in fear as Max walked towards where they were standing.
"The fact that you wanted to run out with that vampire means that you are not on my side. And if you are not for me, then it means that you are against me, and I cannot have people that are working against me on my team." Max said, as he got to where the fidgeting vampires where standing and before they could make any move in defending themselves, he had already slaughtered them with the flaming sword.
"Now, to the rest of you that are fighting on my side, I want you to take an oath that you will join me to fight this warvto the end, without any surrender or betrayal." Max thundered with an evil smirk on this face.
In hell, oaths were actually taken seriously, because actual evil things usually happened to those that eventually broke theirs. Unlike on Earth where someone could take and oath and still survive without fulfilling it.

Lucifer and Azrael had succeeded in convincing Gabriel to leave heaven and come to fight on their side, with one- third of the heavenly army, which was actually half of the remaining soldiers he had left, if they take away the angels that Micheal had gone away with.
The multitude of angels where already waiting at the bank of the river that lead to the western part of hell, they had planned to go through where the demons dominated and also fight (if need be) any demon that tried to oppose them. Their believe was that by doing so, they would be able to take care of the demons which were actually one of the main sourses of Max's strength.
They angel soldiers were waiting in the river bank because, they did not want the humans who where on Earth to spot them. They knew that their sight would spring forth a lot of curiosity from majority of the human population and they where not ready to handle that kind of attention just yet.
While the angels waited there, Lucifer and the rest of the team where saying their good-byes to Sia and the rest of the other humans that could not follow them to hell - just in case.
"I'm not saying that I will not come back, but I'm just saying that there is a probability that I might not...." Lucifer started to say, but he was interrupted by Sia.
"Please don't talk that way, you and the rest of the team members would return safely that's how simple it is" Sia said frowning at Lucifer, obviously irritated about the fact that he was talking as though he was going to die soon or something.
Lucifer sighed. "Okay fine. But I want detective James to be the godfather to our baby"
Detective James's eyes widened in shock, he was not expecting this.
Lucifer turned to him and continued his speech. "I want you to take care of my son or daughter in case I don't return I want you to protect him and fight for him."
Lucifer's brief sermon speech was interrupted by a heavy also from Sia that landed comfortably on his face.
"Just shut up!. You are not going to die until we have this baby, you are going to make him yourself." Sia shouted as tears rolled soflty, down from her eyes through her cheeks.
"I already have a name for the child be it a boy or a girl." Lucifer said with a smile on his face.
