Chapter 13

I decided to use my scent, but I tried to use the tracker one last time, it showed me that the family were in the last eastern state called Austin or something like that, as I was travelling down to the place, I passed through another state called Fort Worth, as I was driving by, I realized their scent became stronger, I ignored it and continued my journey to Dallas, when I got there, I didn't perceive them again. That was when it dawned on me that someone was playing with my tracker.

I decided to go back to Austin. I was in a traffic when I started losing my scent which is weird because at first I was perceiving the blood of everyone in that traffic, if not that I wasn't that hungry, they all would have seen the other side of me, lol, but in the midst of that, the smell of the family's blood were stronger probably as a result of the chemical.

But how did I suddenly lose my scent all of a sudden, I couldn't perceive anything not even the blood of the people in the traffic and it was killing me, it's as if someone was preventing and 

shutting out my wolf being, it was really hurting and choking me. So I decided to use my tracker again, but when I looked at it, I realized I have lost 4 points, only 1 remaining, where did the 4 members of the family go, what happened to them was all I could ask myself.

Whatever that happened to me, only a Demi God of wolf can do that and the only remaining one I know is Carlos.

It was the next morning, in my hotel room that I saw what had happened to the family on the news, which confirmed my suspicions. It was Carlos.

Luckily one of them survived and I knew Carlos will stop at nothing until he kills the last one, I knew I needed to get to her before he does, but if I try to find her using my scent, Carlos will shut my wolf being down, if I regain myself, I will do the same to him, we kept doing anything we can to each other just to prevent us from getting to the girl. This continued for 9 years, I managed to fix my tracker and finally was able to use it to track her. When I did, I bought a house a little bit closer to her.

I started following her around town. I know her friend, her boyfriend, her birthday, the clothes she wear, where she goes, her work place which is FOOD PALACE at independence layout, few estates away from mine, I know how she walks and I know she's beautiful even though I've never been close to her, but it's so sad that her life will have to end soon.

Well with all my strength, I snatched my wolf being from Carlos and released his.
