She giggled while I glared at her. I opened the door, we entered. She sat on the couch and stretched herself.
“I thought you will be in a club by now.” I muttered.
“Today is Wednesday, I go to club on Fridays.” She replied.
“So what are you doing here?” I ask bluntly.
“You said you needed me, I guess your heart called out to me like it called out to Bennett.” she stated.
“Nicky?”
“Fine, it’s my mum, she has been disturbing me since I got home.” she complained.
Hearing about mum, I suddenly missed my mother, I wish I am the one my mum was disturbing. I guess Nicky noticed my sudden quietness, how does she always notice.
“I am sorry Sophia, I didn't mean to remind you of your past.” she apologized sadly, her eyes sparked a little lightening and I can't be angry with those eyes.
“It's OK, it's fine.” I assured.
She smiled and without warning, she snatched my popcorn. Lol, that's my Nicky, always trying to cheer me up.
“So where is the ice cream?" She asked as she munched on my popcorn.
“Which ice cream?” I ask raising a brow.
“Girl don’t tell me that you are eating dried popcorn without ice cream.”
“Nicky you love sugar so much. The popcorn is already filled with sugar and cream and you still want ice cream. My dear there is water in the fridge in case you need liquid.” I said to her and she groaned and stood up.
“You are so boring.” she complained as she headed for the fridge.

BENNETT'S POV
My father and I have been quiet for the past few minutes after I told him that Sophia is my mate and I can't kill her. I could see how confused he was as I stared at him on my laptop screen.
“Dad.” I finally called out. “You are not saying anything.”
“What do you want me to say, how do I explain this to everyone, they wouldn't wanna hear it.” he complained.
I groaned and ran my hand through my hair.
“So what do we do, I can't kill her.” I stated.
“Does she know about you, I mean the wolf you?” He asked.
“No.” I answered.
“You know what? Show her who you are, we will figure the rest out.”
“Dad you don't understand, Sophia hate Wolves after what Carlos did to her family. She will probably hate me if I show her, she might even try to kill me, though she won't succeed but she will strive to.” I breathed out.
“Just try, and if she tries anything funny, just bring her back to California, we will know what to do with her.” he instructed.
