Chapter 24

but when it comes to standing up as a Man and fight, he will run away.

Suddenly the beautiful dangerous being turned towards me. I didn't understand how I was feeling. I'm supposed to be on my heels by Now, running like my life depends on it, but here I am still staring at the beautiful wolf, the more I stare at it, the more I want to touch it.

The wolf was facing me completely, its maroon eyes were fixed on me, it didn't howl, it didn't fight, it didn't pounce on me, it just stood there, staring at me. At a time I thought I saw a human squatting there instead of a wolf but before I could blink, the wolf was already on its way out.

It bumped into someone, OMG Nicky, the innocent girl froze and turned pale, they stared at each other but Nicky was damned scared, she fell to her knees, the wolf stared at her for a while and bolted off. She collapsed on the floor, breathing heavily. I rushed to her, I pulled her up and took her inside, I gave her a glass of water, and she drank some and caught her breath.

"Please tell me that what I saw wasn't a wolf?" She pleaded.

"I'm sorry girl, but unfortunately, it's a beautiful white wolf" I stated as I sat down.

"Beautiful? For a second I thought I was staring at a Demi God Lycan, and I saw my grave beside me....." She cried out, I laughed.

"Demi God, really?" I laughed out loud. Nicky can be so dramatic.

CHAPTER 5

"Seriously, when I fell, I thought I fell into its mouth, and you call it beautiful. And since when did you start liking wolves to the extent of making one your pet huh?" She asked.

"Since tonight and it’s not my pet, come on Nicky be serious." I said.

"Well then, where did it spring out from?" She asked again.

"I don't know, it just came out of nowhere and almost attacked Bryan." I replied.

"Was that why he was running like someone who saw Hitlers ghost?" Nicky laughed out. 

“I saw him anyway, why did he come here?" She asked.

"He came to tell me that it's either I accept Mabel as my roommate or I leave the apartment, and before I could reply, that fearless breed showed itself and Bryan bolted off" I explained, Nicky laughed her heart out.

"Coward, I thought he was a man. But wait a minute, share your apartment with Mabel? Did she tell him that she is homeless?" She asked.

"Probably." I shrugged.

"And then the best place she thinks she can be comfortable in is your flat. She must be planning something" Nicky stated.

"I know, which is why I said no." I replied.

"I'm sure he will come back and throw you out." Nicky added.

"Of course he will, but it can't be tonight." I said

"Definitely not after seeing something that is bigger than his ancestors" Nicky blurted out, we laughed.
