Bennett and I thank Marilia also; we swam out of the castle to where we left the shark. She still there waiting.

"Are you ready for your ride?" Bennett asked me.

"Can I change my mind" I asked back.

"Too late" he said and lifted me up, he dropped me on the shark's back and we swam out.

When we got to the wave, I thought I have gotten used to it but as soon as I felt the current, I almost jumped out but Bennett held me tight, I shut my eyes until we swam past it.

"All clear" Bennett announced and I opened my eyes.

We were already at the spot where we met the shark. Nicky made her sound again, the shark replied and swam away, I guess she thanked him.

She held Bennett's hand, Bennett held my hand while I held the mirror with my other hand, Nicky bolted off with her horse power speed.

As we were swimming I couldn't help but have a bad feeling, I felt like something was definitely gonna go wrong.

20 minutes later, we arrived at the spot where she showed me the cave that leads to Oceania.

She turned to the cave and stared at it. Bennett touched her shoulder and asked.

"No, I've chosen my life and I don't regret it. I'm only missing it. I'm sure that one day I'll forget that I was ever a mermaid. I'll be fine. Besides you are doing the same thing. So it's all good" she replied.

Bennett looked away in sadness. "Yea, I guess you are right you should forget that this part of your world ever existed..." He stated.

I couldn't help but wonder why they were both doing this, why change who they are to become what they are not, it's insane, I will never change myself from being human to any other creature, never.

Bennett shrugged and said to Nicky "I just want you to be happy, you've suffered a lot"

"I'm happy Bennett, I have the best and craziest friend anyone can ever ask for and she has the best mate, what else can be better" she replied.

We became silent and no one talked for a while.

Nicky sighed, Bennett did the same.
