Bennett and I walked down to them, Bennett sent down and touched Carlos's head.

"I'm sorry for hurting you brother" he apologized.

"I'm not sorry for fighting for what is right" Carlos confessed, Nicky hit his hand, he groaned a bit. "Shit, having a mate is not easy" he complained, Nicky hit him again and he laughed.

"Trust me, it's difficult, you would have to do whatever you can to make her happy, only for her to turn around and compliment another person's cuteness" Bennett complained.

"I know you are referring to me" I nudged him, he chuckled.

Nicky helped Carlos to sit up. He looked around and saw the damages he caused and he winced in pain and embarrassment.

"Oh, you will do pay for all the properties you damaged" the alpha pointed out to him.

"Would you punish your own nephew for fighting for what is right uncle?" He asked cunningly.

"If my nephew was in his right senses, he wouldn't be fighting his own people just to stop them from getting what they wanted" the alpha retorted.

"I'm sorry uncle" Carlos bent his head "but I don't regret it, I only did what my father would have done if he were to be alive, he wouldn't want to change his pack into those weak creatures who took his live" he stated.

"Carlos, those 'weak' creatures didn't kill your father on purpose" the alpha stood up from where he was being held by Carlos's men, he walked up to Carlos and continued "your father and I went into the forest to hunt, we saw the humans, they were skiing in the snow, we thought we had found food, so we attacked them but unfortunately they had guns, so they shot at us, I managed to run but they got your father, I tried going back but he clouded my head and shot me out of his wolf so that I can't be able to help him. I managed to read his mind and he said that if I get caught as well, he will never forgive me, so I ran back home." He sighed and added "Carlos what I'm trying to say is that humans are not all that bad, the ones that killed your father only acted on self defense, they saw something about to kill them, so they killed it instead, self defense Carlos"

"Why didn't you tell me about it all these years huh?" Carlos cried out.

The alpha shrugged without replying.

Carlos robbed his face with his hands, probably trying to clean off the tears that was threatening to fall. He sighed and lifted his head to the alpha.

"Fine, I'm sorry for everything" he stated.

"Everything that happened was all because of fate, if not for your actions Carlos, you and your brother wouldn't have found your mates" Bennett's mum, Penny said.

"And why does their mates always come from outside the pack" Aurora whined.

"Destiny my dear" penny replied.

The bitch is just jealous.
