Chapter 76

what am I doing here, who am I, why is no one walking on the road like me, am I dead.

As I was walking, I bent my head down, I shut my eyes for a few seconds, I was scared and tears were streaming down my cheeks, when I opened my eyes,I noticed I was walking on dried leaves, I looked up and realized I was in the woods, the tall trees shaded the woods from the sun, the tree leaves were so beautiful and green on the trees but once they fall to the ground they dried up immediately, weird.

"Sophia!" I heard my name from beyond the woods, the female voice that called me sounded so familiar and melodious, but I didn't think I've heard that voice before or even if I have it must have been long.

"Sophia" the voice screamed again, this time louder.

I followed the echo of the voice until I walked out of the woods into a barley field, the barleys were not ripe yet, they were still green in color, they were sweating everywhich way in perfect harmony.

"My baby" I heard the same voice crying by my left.

I turned and saw them, my memories began flowing back to me as I stared at my parents in tears, everything about me kept coming back in one piece, Nicky, My Bennett, my home, the wolf pack, the mermaid world, everything. I cried harder as I stared at the two people I've not Seen for ten years now, it felt like magic, I felt like I was dreaming.

But then it dawned on me, I wasn't dreaming,I was dead.

"Mum, dad" I whispered as I stared at them.

I was about to run to them when a weird silver stick appeared in front of me, it might be about 10 inches long and it had this weird orb on its head, it was beautiful,I was tempted to touch it but I had no time for it,all I wanted then was to run into my parents arms, and that was exactly what I did.

I ran to my parents and swung myself on them.

The laughed excitedly as they swayed me around.

"My little baby, you've grown so big" Dad commented and kissed my forehead.

"When I saw you in the woods, I thought I was seeing things, but no, you are really here" mum cried out.

"I missed you guys so much" I sniffled "where are Stanley and Marie?" I asked after my siblings.

"They are not here at the moment my dear,and I don't think you have much time to stay and wait for them" dad replied.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"You have to go back to the land of the living" mum stated.

"Mum, is this really the land of the dead" I chuckled out.

"I can't tell you that" she shrugged.

I laughed a little before asking "I was actually expecting heaven or hell, do they actually exist?"

"We can't tell you that, you have to go now" dad snapped.

"Go where? You guys can't leave me again, I'm scared" I cried out.
