After meeting Tommy that evening, I later went to a fast food restaurant close by to grab something to eat, after buying a chicken burger, I then went home before my mom comes back.

CASSANDRA'S POV

I got home from my first day of school, I went into the living room and saw my dad

"Good afternoon dad," I greeted my dad

"Welcome sweetie." he replied

"Your mom is in your room collecting your dirty laundry." he added

"Okay dad," I answered

I went upstairs to my room and droped-off my backpack on my bed and saw my mom coming out of my bathroom, 

"Young lady you need to be arranging your dirty laundry on the dresser for me!" She informed.

"I am really sorry mom I won't do it again" I replied putting my two hands on my ear feeling very sorry. My mom went out of my room with most of my dirty clothes in a basket, I quickly went into my bathroom to take off my School uniform and take a shower after taking my bath, I change into a pair of fresh clothes and went downstairs, my dad was watching one of my favorites TV series, I sat down close to him, 

"Sweetie how was your first day at your new school?" he asked. 

"Great dad," I answered.

"Tell me all about your day," he said.

"The school is very beautiful, I met a guy today named Julio he is very nice and polite, he gave me a tour of the school, the experience is really awesome". I replied.

"It must have been such a wonderful experience" my dad said picking up the TV remote.

"Of course dad" I replied. 

Minutes later my mom came into the living room and told us that dinner was ready, we all went into the dining room together, when suddenly my dad received a call from someone and he told me and my mom that he was not hungry, that he will come home early.

Cassandra dad told her and her mother that he is not hungry in reality he was called by one of his drug member.

“Hey Lucas you need to come to the ware house, the Hombre de dinero’s gang just killed Anthonio” The guy on the phone said. 

“Shit why are they in our territory again I thought we don’t got no beef with them no more” said Lucas Cassandra’s dad, his name is Lucas Gaire Cassandra’s Dad, he married Cassandra’s mom nineteen years ago, he is a cocaine distro (distributor) in Brooklyn, but his territory is limited, his daughter knows little about the family business her mom knows everything about what he does for a living, he opened a nail salon for her as a means of cleaning some of his drug money through there, she is one of the best things that has ever happened to him,

they both moved to Brooklyn when they had Cassandra when she was about 1 year old,
