I am a good friend of your daughter.” Julio said to my mom while looking a bit nervous and sweating, this was the very first time Julio was meeting my mom.
“Okay Julio, I have heard a lot about you, Cassandra won’t stop talking about you.” My mom replied.
I quickly interrupted their conversation.
“Heh heh emm.” I coughed.
“Mom Julio and I need to get going to the graduation ceremony before it is too late.” I said staring at my mom.
“Alright dear I wasn’t trying to delay the both of you, I was just trying to get to know this fine young man over here.” My mom replied with a mischievous look on her face.
“Okay mom now that you two have met, can we go now?” I said to my mom while blushing.
“Okay the both of you can go, but I will call a cab to take you guys to your school, and another thing your dad will be at your graduation, I will not be coming because I have a few things I need to handle.” My mom replied.
“Alright mom.” I muttered.
Julio, my mom and I went outside and she called a cab for us, Julio and I both got into the cab, as my mom told the driver to take us to our school, me and Julio both waved goodbye to my mom, as the driver zoomed off, me and Julio both sit next to each other in the passengers sit.
“Hey your mom is so cool and nice” Julio said while looking straight into my eyes.
“Thanks, seems like she really likes you, because my mom don’t really like me having guy friends.” I replied.
“I guess there is an exception for me then” Julio said with a smile on his face.
A couple of minutes later, we arrived at our school, we could hear the loud sound of music and high school teens running around, everybody was very excited to finally be done with high school and all the stress and drama, me and Julio went inside the school, we went to the football pitch because that is where they put the podium and all the awards they were going to give some of the students.
Julio went to go see his friends, as I make my way to look for seats for all of us to sit down, not quiet long Julio came back and grabbed my hand.
“Let’s go take some pictures together.” He said.
“Okay, let’s go.” I replied.
I went with him to back of the stage where we took a couple of pictures with his friends and a couple of pictures with the both of us together, as we were done taking pictures together we all made our way back to the seats as we get ready for our principal to give his speech and make the announcements.
About 40 minutes later in the graduation ceremony I saw my dad coming in the Football pitch, dressed in an all black suit. “Hi dad I am so glad you made it to my graduation.”
